I read on teletext this week that SSE are anticipating a price cut at the beginning of 2009, so if it was going to be 1st January, that would be really good.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
-
I think they said early 2009 which in energy company speak probably means after the winter/high usage months.0

This what SSE actually said.
"‘If wholesale prices for electricity and gas maintain a downward trend, SSE is optimistic that it will be able to deliver reduction in prices for domestic customers during the early part of 2009."0 -

Pushing gas ,electric AND telephone. They didn't mention to my elderly neighbour that he may have to pay BT for phone re-connection charges if it didn't work out, or that he may be better orf on BT Basic anyway.0 -

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
why would you have to pay re-connection charges for changing your provider? I have never heard of this before.0
