Bluetooth phone earpiece

My g/f has the Motorola V600 mobile phone, it came with a Motorola bluetooth ear piece.
I have a Sony Ericsson K700i mobile phone.

I can't seem to get my Sony phone to pick up the Motorola ear piece. It only connects to the V600.

How can i reset the ear piece then set it to connect to my Sony phone ? ???

Press and hold the button on the bluetooth headset for three seconds then when the blue light comes on open the headset. This puts the headset into discoverable mode. look for bluetooth headsets on you phone it should detect it. if it asks for a pin, the pin for the headset is 0000. hopefully the headset now bonded to your phone.
