  • Today I have:
    • Got out of bed at lunchtime after a very long, but enjoyable lie-in
    • Decided to save on water and electricy by not having a shower - I had one last night before bed, I don't need another
    • looked over all my paperwork and made notes on what needs to be done
    • posted on here again, and have received some nice, and helpful replies
    • watched a hockey game
This evening I am going to:
    • drink the bottle of wine thats been in my fridge for weeks
    • find something to eat in the cupboard
    • have a shower and get into my pj's
    • have a quiet, inexpensive night in

Bit of a mixed bag today:

    1) Cashed my £100 Post Office cashback which i received after a £15 spent. Still expecting £43 from quidco.
    2) Collected £100 from flatmate owed for deposit.
    3) This is the kicker: went to Bluewater, BUT!! Only spent £40 (I know, only!) but that included a new top for the work xmas do, return fare there and home, lunch and some toiletries. I have £160 left of the £200 and I will take that to the bank on my lunch break on Monday. £100 going to debts, the rest will probably be swallowed up by my gas and water.
    4) Bought root touch up on sale, to do my own hair (used to to spend £90 every 6 weeks!).
    5) Used up 2 day old home bread for brekkie.
    6) Used up frozen food for din.
    7) Going to set the breadmaker timer for brekkie tomorrow.
    8) Turned down invite to a party as I don't want to waste money on alcohol so another Saturday night in for this singleton.
    9) Pruned flowers and watered instead of chucking and buying new ones like I used to.
    10) Checked online banking. Doing well so far this month.

    Take care all.

Curry 5 Minutes from hitting pan. Rice is on. (Freda has declared an Exclusion Zone)
Going to Supermarket to get Freda some Plonk de Legs, Freddie some beer (£10)
Tonights task. Check Bank and do the shuffles.
Got two free tea coasters today, unwanted mail had a DVD in it. Fantastic.
  • Sounds like lots of us having DFW nights in - (I can feel a PJ party coming on - steady now)

    Hung up more washing!
Another load on 30o and another load on the bannister
Looked at tesco clubcard offers - ta Andan
Thinking up cunning ways to use less oil at £60 a week (for a not very toasty house) I need to seriously rethink
Currently have candles on (heat and ambience)
Extra jumper on (can barely move)
Offered to take DD two pals tomorrow to help out her mum (who is very good to me and does lots of driving so she saves me petrol; by being nice tomorrow I help her out too - not exactly alutristic but realistic)
Can hear heating clicking in, going to turn it off - oil is outrageous

    Enjoy cheap/free nights in xx
