Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • Feel free to jump on board BOB:D , the thread often descends into silliness:p but lots of useful ideas too, and where else can you get skipping sheep?

    Afternoon all,
I hope that you all have beeen having a good day. I went food shopping this morning. And got myself some cheep veg off our local farmers market:T
I dont know about you guys but the veg off these markets is always greta tasting always in a good fresh condishion and a lot cheeper then the shops.
Plus you get to talk to the folks off the farmsa nd small holdings were this veg is grown.
I got some good cheep cuts of meat from the bucher too. so the freezer is now stocked with meat onece again. so i only need to buy sunday joints for the next few weeks. But i will buy any meat thats been reduced if i see it and add that to the freezer.
Next week i need to stock back up on fish as its getting low now.
I also have done another 4 servays today so thats anoter 35p in the pot.
All thse penneys are adding up iv got £5.70 now. But onepoll dont payout untill i get to £40. Still in a few months time ill br there.
Iv also cheaked internet banking (not good)
Qidco £41 So just waiting for a payout on that.
YouGov £1.50 Thay dont seem to ever seen me any servays to do:mad: but i have only been a member for about 6 weeks so there is still time,

Well I never - I love the skipping sheep - they are definately the ones from my willow fields, I recognise the ropes!!!!!!!!!!!!

SM thanks so much very funny - but down here today just totted up how much oil I have used thought had used a tank (£326) in 10ish weeks - turns out is only SIX
arghghghghgh using over £60 a week in oil with heating only on hour half in morning and from about 3.45 -10pm at night - really need a rethink.

Skipping sheeps and silly socks huh!! welcome all newbies, oldies and all.

Went to get more coal cos thinking might try keeping fires on more and using heating less
Met nice lady (mrs Wiggle - with a name like that she has to have the job surely???) for cleaning, she seems a nice sort - bit overwhelmed by the size of our house, but assured her I am only in here to look after the garden and we ARENT posh, loaded or from any kinda money.
Online electricity - looked at it today now and looks like we are using less so far than I said. (good oh)
Storecupboard tea sausages, mash and yorkies gravey yjmmy yummy yum.

DS has bartered new dvd player to go in lodger room and he will (hand to head) sacrifice having his ps2 in the lounge (as can use it for dvds too) - just means his ps2 is rigged up to the projector so dont feel sorry for his loss, hes gained an 8ft screen on the wall. (think I have beeen done but not sure yet) oh well

Glad to see andan's list is even longer than yesterday and she's already half way through!! xxxxxx

Hi fay, when you get the club card vouchers sent to you you can go on the tesco clubcard website and there are things you can chose from such as magazine subscriptions, airmiles, a whole host of things. When you convert them to club card deals they are worth four times as much.

Never ever use those club card vouchers in store as they are not the best value for money!!

Click on the attached link and you will see what i mean!!
