YesHi everyone! I'm not long back from a weekend in Hull to see my pal. We used to be flatmates and got on brilliantly, but he was in such a negative mood and was being quite nasty at times that I spent most of the weekend biting my tongue and counting the hours before I could get the train home.
Glad I'm home now, even though I've had to do three loads of washing & need to get them dry & ironed for tomorrow (going to Portugal for the week - with work, sadly not a jolly). I've just downloaded the new Stereophonics CD though, so have a good soundtrack while I catch up with you lot!£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

My external hard-drive has died, or is dying. I swear I'm cursed

YesI can't see the appeal in I'm a Celeb at all, I don't even know who 90% of the "celebrities" are.
Well the definition of a celebrity is "a person who is well known for their well known-ness."
If you don't know who they are, then they kind of lose their point of existance..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

YesI just want to say that it wasn't all awful this weekend. I did have some very good things happen...
Firstly, I got asked out on Friday!! I met this guy at work a few weeks ago and we got on really well, but I didn't think anything would come of it. I've been off work since then, but was on IM on Friday and he IM'd me and asked if I'd like to go out sometime! Fortunately, I was able to say that I was busy that weekend and all of next week (didn't want to seem too keen, even though I was like :j )
AND (even better news)... my neice had a beautiful baby girl on Thursday!! Am slightly shocked at being a great aunt at the tender age of 37, but not as shocked as my 41 year old brother who's now a grandad  Little Katelyn is beautiful, though, and I can't wait to meet her :A£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Windows can find its drivers and it says it's working but I can't access it, it won't assign it a letter drive. I'm trying to recover as much of it as possible but it's 750GB and I don't have anything else that big to copy an image of it toNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Right click on "my computer" and select "manage"
First have a look in Event Viewer under (probably) System and see if it has whinged there, then go into the disk subsystem and see if it has been recognised there as either a FAT or NTFS filesystem. If it has, then you can right click on it and assign it as a drive letter.
Do you have a USB key or SD card plugged in right now?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
