Oh, Christams decorations? Well since DH and I luuuurve Christmas, we shall probably put them up at the end of Nov, and they come down after New Years (which I loath!) saying that, we will probably put the lights up outsode any day now...

wow, Bun - you are an early bird for the decs!!

I've started looking for the first house to have any outside lights up as i'm driving around in the evening but haven't seen one yet.

I've had contact from a friend on FB for the first time since we left school. She's now living and working in Abu Dhabi as a teacher in an English school and has been out there for 15 years.

Amazing life, looks permanently tanned, lovely little boy, married to a guy who is half Arabic, half Scottish (and who was brought up in London!).

It made me feel a bit tearful really, but I guess I shouldn't be envious of other people's lives. I'm having quite a bit of that recently - the green eyed monster for what other people have in various aspects of their lives - either 'things' they own, or things they are doing generally. Need to give myself a good kick really.

Anyone know if cooked jacket spuds can be kept for another day? I've spent the last 2 hours cooking one, and really dont want it now :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
