That's only the rubber ones. The silvery/mylar ones will last for about a week."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I'm having quite a bit of that recently - the green eyed monster for what other people have in various aspects of their lives - either 'things' they own, or things they are doing generally. Need to give myself a good kick really.
Instead of kicking your own hopes and aspirations out of yourself, go out there and seize the life that's waiting for you.

The plan is to invite my parents, and OH's parents - so we get to see everyone without the house being full/making tea non-stop, and we might get to eat our meal while it's hot if the baby-entertaining is shared. I think DS is pretty good in a highchair and with food but I am not entirely convinced he could last 3 courses - and at £50-ish a head I don't want to skip pudding!!

YesThe first time we went DD, my DD (confusing, lol) was 6 days old! The next time, she was a year and was great-sat lovely in the chair and made a right mess!
Tbh, I would do it again but SIL would probably pull a face about it being too expensive-only because the silly beyatch never has cooked a Christmas meal in her LIFE and gladly sponges off me or MIL-I didn't find it any more dear than buying all the food and trappings that go along with a large Xmas meal (ie, alcohol, nice free range turkey, etc etc) I always buy a cheese board, alcohol (ie, red wine, white, liquer for afters like Baileys, beer for the men-the turkey is always at least £40!eek! all the veg, HM stuffing, desserts, sweets for around the house, nuts-you get the picture! )
No mess, no stress. And no left overs to tempt you for days! Go for it-Im sure DS will be grand getting fawned over by all the grandparents.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
NoBum. Hotel Club have charged me 3 x£15 for Leeds rather than 2x. Just wanged off an email asking for 1 lot back.
