Louise - normally never as I am a bah humbug sort of person but this year I am thinking of putting some up to indulge my general love of sparkly tacky things.

    Wow Sally, thats a great loss 4lbs in 1 week:beer: :j

I usually put mine up the 1st weekend in December but I think I will wait a bit longer this time I take mine down on 2nd January.

I would love a real tree but OH thinks they are a waste of money and messy:rolleyes:

We do have quite a nice artificial one though. We should have a Christmas party where we all show pictures of our Christmas trees and drink Baileys:beer:

Our cat doesnt bother with the decorations anymore but I remember when her and our other cat used to launch themselves at the tree.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Christmas Decorations: last proper weekend before the actual day. and then we a a kinda family party & I bake the ham.
Spud: another GREAT BIG HUGGY HUG. He is a s**t and I don't really know how to advise. But I had a similar problem with my, now, ex. And they weren't even his kids  .
Could I just hijack the thread and ask for (all) your opinions on a letter I have written to the water peeps. I just found out I could be saving an extra £12 per month and could have been for the last gazillion years:mad: .

    Afternoon :)

I've taken my wedding ring and engagement ring off - feels a bit odd but 'right', if you know what I mean.

I think generally I'm feeling a lot happier. My body clock has gone into panic mode though....I think it's thinking 'you're 34 and single....last chance girl.....come on!!'. :rotfl:

Lock up your husbands/sons (only if your sons are over 30 tho!) :p

Husband is now locked up:D :rotfl: To be honest I dont think he would be able to handle another woman after me, I have scarred him for life I think:rotfl:

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit brighter.

Hello HWGA, missed you again:o You are a wonderful Sister to go all the way to OZ to help her out:A

Rugbymum your Christmas Bake Day sounds really festive and lovely, I like to make a big family meal for the whole gang (13 of us) its a days hard graft but I love to see all of my family together, we also make a toast to my Brother who lives in Thailand and this year we thought he would be here with us but sadly not:(

    Hello all.. ugh hungover.

HWGA - wow, jetting off, hope it all goes well!
Spud - big hugs.. that would drive me mad someone not speaking for days.
Louise - I don't do Christmas decorations, don't really see the point when it's just me here.
