There seems to be a parallel thread going... does Total Recorder capture the RM file rather then recording all soundcard output inc mouse clicks? Switch will convert too for free but I think there's a 30 min limit.0

RM Recorder captures the RM file, yes.Blessed are the geeks, for they shall inherit the Internet.0

Thanks dccarm. I managed to locate the 'last freeware version' 1.87 of Net Transport. Yes it is identical in operation to Flashget but does not upset the Adware Detector in McAfee like Flashget does. Net Tranport or Flashget offer the very simplest use - just right click on the Listen button & choose "Download with Net Transport" for example.
Importantly, Net Transport will download numerous parallel streams and relink them, I selected 10 streams going so a 30 minute program took 3 mins to download - Flashget seemed to max out at 3 for no particular reason.
Another observation about getting BBC Listen Again programmes in this way: The low bit rate Real Audio sound quality that most Listen Agains use seems to get worse on conversion from RA to MP3.0 -

Hi buglawton,
Could you explain a little more about this as I don't have this in my right click menu.0 -

How is it illegal, it is broadcast for free on the radio, so how would it be illegal to make a recording of it?
Surely if this is the case then it would also be illegal to record programmes/movies from the TV??2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0 -
After I installed Net Transport (or Flashget) and rebooted, any link that offers a file including Realaudio ones can be right clicked on and you should see the option. You have to have the mouse pointer in just the correct place.0

make sure whatever you do that you have peer guardian installed and running.0

Yes, then also SKY+ is an illegal product that actually ENCOURAGES people to time shift programmes and CHARGES a premium amount for the service!0
