You guys will love Legoland!!! My DS2 enjoyed it as much as DS1. The Laser Raiders (think that's what it was called) ride is well worth the queue wait ;)

Promise to try will do very nicely thank you Mrs Rusty xxx

when are you coming to see me!

I have to go and collect ds1 now but I have made a list of things to post when I come back.

I have just about recovered from dropping him off! he is going to an activity group run by the church this week and wanted to walk by himself. I said I would drop him off then he could start walking whilst I parked the car. it is a straight road and a crossing with lights. he is 10 so we are trying to give him a bit of independence. I could see him ahead of me but then he went round a bend. I walked past the place and thought I would just check he was there - he wasn't:eek: there was no where he could have gone. I nearly had heart failure. then I saw him he had gone the wrong way:eek: he was totally unphazed by it all! OH just said that's part of being a mother and he has to gain independence!
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

OMG, I would have nearly had heart failure too!!! Me and my monkeys went to Tesco early this morning, it makes me soooo stressed because they both want to walk/run about whereas I would be far happier to get them both in the trolley and have squashed food ;)

Rusty - I wont take the cake apart for a while - it seems a shame to!!!! Although I can't wait to see what's inside!!!! Did you make the daddy's belt too???? I'm sure your mojo will return soon - I haven't made anything in a few days either, hopefully tonight I'll have a go.

Bunbun - it must be so hard learning to give your kids a bit of independence. Mine are 7 and 5 so I've got a while to go - but I know I'll struggle when the time comes!

Rainmac - I took my youngest to the Asda with me yesterday - he loves coming 'cos he puts loads of goodies in the trolley, he stresses me out because he insists on walking too - his imaginary friend "Walter" has to sit in the seat in the trolley - I even have to put the seat belt around him.

I am soooooooo excited about it, when I was little we went to the real on in Denmark and I loved it and remember everything about that holiday!! DS knows nothing about it and he will only be told at approx 5am the morning when we wake him up to go :) ... I really can't wait though, I knew you had been and have kids similar age so was nice to hear from you ;)

I am still trying to work my days out to try and get up to you this week!! ... I have also been told today my car has to go back to the garage which means I will be carless again so until I have spoken to OH I can't work out the rest of my week!!

Poor DS :( hope he is ok?

You have to take it apart ;) Thats an order ;) ..... I didn't make the tool belt no, I am not that talented. The lovely CandyB101 from the nappy cake thread donated it to your baby bump :) I did however put the bits and pieces in it lol :)

I guess I am lucky as my 2 have never had imaginary friends? not sure how I would cope with that one??

However I am the same as rainmac, would rather they both go in the trolly and sqaush the food :rotfl:
