Fab cards everyone, have left comments on blogs x

I am sooo pleased so many people have entered the Christmas card challenge so far. I will reveal the 'winner' on Tuesday morning. As for the next challenge, I love the idea of both of the ideas suggested :D

I've had a craftless day so far - cooked a lovely roast and apple & blackcurrant crumble for pud. I could have easily missed out the dinner and had double helpings of crumble as I love it ;) Hoping to have a look at covering a xmas gift box to turn it into a present for my dad. Need to have a route through my stash for some papers...

I have 2 friends' birthdays to buy/make presents for. I was thinking of a summer holiday survival kit, they both have kiddies like me so thought they may appreciate the humour. So far I've thought of: paracetamol, cotton wool (to put in their ears when the noise gets too much), bar chocolate, teabags/coffee to help relax, some ideas for entertaining kiddies...and then my ideas dry up. Can any of you clever ladies think of any more?

Hello ladies, wel I'm back from a lovely weekend camping, although we did think that we might float away last night! My sister and her family came along in a borrowed tent to see if they like it and unfortunately it leaked! Luckily we've got loads of living room in our tent so they slept in there!

Absolutely no time for crafting (apart from now but I'm catching up on here!), but I will say gorgeous cards everyone as always. Saveapenny - I love your idea of throwing a quick card together - it looks fab! What sort of kit is it, I don't think I've seen anything quite like it.

I'm being very naughty while DH is in the gym and having a pizza delivered! He and my littlest son are coeliac and I spent the weekend making sure what food I rodered was OK for E(in case he didn't like what he had!) so thought I'd have something just for me tonight!

Hugs to everyone who needs them - and get well vibes to anyone feeling udner the weather.

PS - Please stop posting links to lovely stash that I can buy!!!

Beautiful, stunning, wonderful cards everyone!! :T
Npsmama beautiful prayer journal could I be cheeky and ask for a close up of the pages inside to see what you have wrote? I think it is a fabulous idea and would be perfect for my aunt and uncle for christmas (providing you don't mind me borrowing the idea?)

of course you can borrow the idea! I'm PMing you.

Regarding flocking powder: the most important thing is to use 'dry' glues - so use double-sided sticky tape or better a Quickie Glue Pen. Do not, I repeat don not use liquid glue like PVA - it'll turn into gooey horrible mess and will spoil your card!

I highly recommend the Quickie Glue Pens - they're great for so many other things too, like glitter etc...

We were in Ringwood so Hobbycraft was only 10 minutes down the road (Longham, Ferndown) and then The Range was about 15/20 minutes away in Bournemouth at a huge retail park with The Range, TKMaxx, Dunelm Mill, Matalan and Wickes (to occupy OH :D) x

we are staying in Bransgore. have bee to Hobbycraft in Ferndown but didn't know there was a range! will have to talk nicely to OH:D

Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes, I had a lovely meal with my parents.

My boyfriend didn't have time to help me set up my Slice so that will have to wait til another day. JailhouseBabe - yes, I thought I was really patient waiting for it too, and what's more my parents left it out for ages so whenever I went round it was in full view!

Rainmac - I love your pocket cards, they are gorgeous.

Craftygranny and saveapenny - fab Christmas cards. I have been so busy and out of the loop recently so won't be able to enter the challenge, will there be another Christmas challenge at somepoint?

Furrypig - what a stunning card, I love it.

Dragonllew - your teacher presents are fantastic, I love them.

I haven't gotten around to taking photos of the cards I have to post, will try and do it tomorrow in natural light.

For the next challenge should we combine both ideas and make a Thank-you card (furrypig) with embossing on (lei_armstrong). Cards would have to be completed by Monday 27th July.
