Louby- both my babies had chickenpox about 6 weeks ago. Baking soda baths helped them tremendously (they had several a day if needed) as did aloe vera gel.
I hope your little one feels better soon.
Rusty: have you received your Magnolias? I bought them too but haven't received them and am getting a bit worried.
Finally, we have our piglets!!! :j:T:j:T
They're on my blog: http://justbecauseitmakesmesmile.blogspot.com/"Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

Can i just say how fantasic it is to be part of this thread. It really amazes me how complete strangers can be so giving, thoughtful, kind and caring to each other. I tell you you really find out who your friends are and i wish i could replace my real friends with you lot in real life. You know only 2 of my real friends have bothered to congratulate me on being pg and have asked how i am. Considering all my friends know my medical history i am shocked. One of my closest friends who was my bridemaid but i don't see her that often now hasn't even bothered to send a txt let alone a phone call. You ladies are such a great bunch.
Just on my way to the docs sons fingers look infected so he needs some antiboitics.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
ooh looby lou that sounds really bad . Hope the poor lamb feels better soon. Take it easy and don't forget to look after yourself too.
My grandaughters had it at easter and kaitlyn still has a few scars where she gave in and scratched.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Yay after all the hint-dropping my Mum has said she'll buy me the Cuttlebug for my birthday and says to look for about £50 worth of accessories to go with it! :-D I'm soo excited but have no idea where to start... If I want to get Nestabilities do I need anything extra? Also I've heard people talking about a tan mat but didn't know it was needed for?! Help!!!! Lol thanks x0

Jeez we have just had the thunderstorm from hell! I'm off work with a ripped shoulder muscle and jumped so much at one crack that I pulled it again.
Glad I was here though as I had to mop up the bedroom as there was water pouring in through the windows  - think we must really do something about getting them replaced and soon.
Was going to craft this afternoon but I'm still a nervous wreck.
Sorry that chickenpox has popped up again must be awful being itchy in this heat - DS got them when he was about 2 3/4 and had loads but DD had 3 spots as she was only about 6 weeks old - she now seems to get 3 spots every time they go round - fingers crossed that's all she will getOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Lei, have a look on my blog, www.craftywife.blogspot.com and there's a link to Ikky's cuttlebug blog, this will tell you all you will need for the Bug. If not, someone may come along with more help than I can give as I have the Wizard machine. Nesties and other Spellbinders dies will go through the Bug quite easily once you've got the right mat.
There is more info on the Spellbinders site www.spellbinderspaperarts that will give you all the layers to help with the Nesties and the Bug (sounds like a new range of stamps! :j I said it first!!!) Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
So sorry your DS is so poorly with chicken-pox Louby. Hope the GP can give him something to relieve the pain/itching x Can't beleive your firends aren't excited for you
. My oldest friend is due in less than 2 weeks and I am losing sleep thinking about her
Padster, your shoulder sounds really painful. Please rest where possible and painkillers will propbably help? I love storms - so long as I don't need to leave the houseWe've had quite a bit of rain but no storm today.
I am getting myself in a mess with all the challenges - need to make a list and then start making them. I am not doing the CCC one this week as have no inspiration for a wedding card.
Happy belated Birthday Skiergirl :bdaycake:
Whoo-hoo lei, brilliant news about the Cuttlebug :T
npsmama, love the piggies
mumhug, I leave all my cards blank inside and have done for the ones I'm going to try and sell next month.
Rusty and choccy, you've been spending, spending, spending!!! Can I ask do the Magnolia Stamp Club stamps come on one sheet that you have to cut and then mount onto that squidgy stuff (EZ Mount or something?)?
Rusty, my littly son did his first wee in a potty yesterday! He has previously gone on the toilet but we've had several months of him refusing to want to try so I thought I'd leave it to the summer and lo and behold, he performed yesterday! He's woken up today with a horrible cough, literally coughing constantly so not going to make him use it today. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
