Bless you npsmama - it sounds like you've had an awful day. Sending some e-hugs!
Is your OH home soon to help out? - it sond slike you've got a lot on your plate. If it makes you feel any better, I've had bras break on me before too. Underwired ones! So I've had to make the choice as to whether to put up with a piece of metal piecing me in a sensitive area or walk around with one boob 'up' and one boob 'down'. Awful! Hope you were near an m&s and popped in to buy yourself a new one.

Rusty, that's fantastic news! :j:j:j:jYou might have to treat yourself to some more goodies to celebrate ;)
Is Aberdeen far from you? Commutable? My geography is rubbish! :o

Hi JB Aberdeen is approx 4.5 - 5 hours drive away so he will be away all week and I will be on my own which is going to be a nightmare :( but it will be worth it to try and get out of this rut! He says on Pay day he will buy me 2 lots of nesties :D:D:D I tried to bargain with him and said one now and one later but he said no!!

Glad things are looking up for you.

I've had such an awful day. :-(
I picked my mum up from the airport - she's bipolar (but refuses treatment) and there's just no knowing what she will be like - at the moment she's in a manic phase (no social inhibitions, deliriously excited about mundane things, spending money recklessly but also refusing to pay for things herself, doing 'little' things like leaving the hot tap on full blast , etc, etc).
I find the manic phases harder to cope with than the depressive ones.
OH is away on business and my kids were so appallingly behaved today I felt like the worst mum ever. Then as I was trying to sort the kids both screaming at once in Chester High St my bra broke!!!!
I fought back the tears all day and then hubby phoned this evening and I just went to pieces.

The only light I saw today was when I opened the mail to find Flourgirl's wonderful stamped images :D. THANK YOU A ZILLION TIMES!!! You have no idea how fantastic it was to receive those. :o
Quick question: how do you get your images to come out so beautifully? Seriously, pls do tell!

Oh no sounds like you really are having a carp time at the min :( Sending you massive hugs, try and stay strong and if you need someone to chat to send me a message or something, or even come and rant on here, one thing I have learnt about the people on this thread over the last couple of months is how supportive they are, they are fabulous, kind, loving helpful people who will go out of their way to try and cheer you up or help in any way they can!!

Keep your chin up and have some big hugs xx

Just want to say a massive thankyou for all of the well wishes from you all for OH, he can't believe how lovely you are ;) Thankyou from me aswell, we have been out this evening for a meal (wow it was fab!! even though I had to complain )

Rusty - more lovely cards on your blog. Huge congratulations to Mr. Rusty - what great news!!!
Sales admin - I got the email from craft superstore too! What did you end up getting?? The basic grey kit did look a good buy - I've already got a few cupcake bits so I've been good and not bought it.
Marg - sorry you've had a bad day - feel free to rant away.
Mumhug - hope you feel better soon. I have no idea what viral labrinthitis is - but it sounds horrible.
Npsmama - hope you have a better day tomorrow, it sounds like you've had a horrible time -I'm sending you hugs too.
Well - Mum's been and gone - I haven't had chance to play with my guillotine yet but I will tomorrow!! The card bags from craft superstore fit my large scalloped cards - so I am chuffed!!! I got 50 of them but I can't remember how much they cost, I'll post a link if anyone's interested - shame their postage is so high!!!

npsmama - sorry to hear about your day. I hope things are better today for you :)

Rusty the email was for £5 worth of extra loyalty points when you spend over £40 plus free postage and I used 15% off voucher too!
    Basic Grey kit http://www.craftsuperstore.co.uk/Gifts/Scrapbook-Kits/sc1053/p9853.aspx

Melissa I bought some Cuttlebug embossing folders...they were in my basket the other day but didn't want to pay postage so just left them there! (Glad I did now) I had to get the basic grey kit, I'll let you know if it's any good!

I'm expecting 3 orders next week because I bought some stuff from Artymiss and also http://www.liz-craft.co.uk/p/HPSP.html to start making my Christmas cards.

    Must stop spending now!

Morning ladies - mummy's day today(at home instead of work), and the boys will be making father's day cards after school so I may actually get a chance to do some myself!

:grouphug:to anyone having a tough time at the moment.

Right, am going to attempt some personals while reading the 10 or so pages that have appeared since I was last on!

Rusty - still not ordered the bug yet - must be being a bit slow but couldn't see anywhere to enter the promo code - will try again later as today is bonus day at work :j Can't beleive some people were complaining at the maount when we're lucky to have jobs, let alone a bonus!

Dawn- how's the mammoth scrapping going?

I have to say I sometimes feel a bit guilty about spending - but it's usually lots of small amounts, when DH buys anything it's usually a lot more expensive! ANyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

Rusty - you've turned into a pocket card whizz! They are really lovely.

I am lucky enough to have a whole desk in our study for crafting - there's no way I could do it in a 'public' part of the house. As I've said before I'm a complete crafting slob!

Dragonllew - gorgeous cards on your blog - those fantasy papers are lovely aren't they?

JHB - I love love love your latest card! Seeing the swiss dots is what made me want a bug!

Melsharpshooter - hi! Men really are all alike aren't they! Nice to see you posting.

The-wife - you have been busy! The cards look really lovely - but I want to see your new purse!

npsmama- Hobbycraft is defintiely to be avoided with any children in my opinion - gets very expensive...

Melissa - I've got the PUrple cow guillotine and trimmer - and it's fantastic. They can be joined together or used spearately, the trimmer has other baldes too - a wavy one and one that does perforations. I got it reduced by £10 in the Range a while back.

Pesky33 - welcome. Hope you got through all the threads! Will have a nosy at your blog later.

Oh Rusty - just seen your great news. You must be thrilled. Well done Mr Rusty.:T

Mumhug -that sounds horrible - is it a dizzy sort of thing? Hope you're feeling much better now.

npsmama - sorry you had such a rotten day. I'm glad you had the images to cheer you up.

Well, sorry for the mammoth post! Hope to have some cards to share soon...

    Nik

Sorry not been around much been under the weather again,
Mumhug, know how you feel, I am just coming out of my third "episode" since October and am waiting for a MRI scan to see if there is an underlying cause (wonder if it will pick up the brain cell I am sure is hidden there)
well done for all the lovely cards posted I think "pockets" are going to be BIG this year:rotfl:
Rusty well done to your hubby and good luck with the new job.
I am looking forward to the CP swaps I have Rainmac in the stash ( help do I have anything good enough?) and my Pink card swap is ready to post as soon the draw is made.
    Happy crafting
