    Mornin Girls

Just come back from the Drs Iv'e been about my shoulder which as you know has been giving me a lot of pain. The boob clinic Dr said I needed to see an orthopedic Dr for Xrays, but my GP said there is nothing wrong with it it's absoloutely normal  The examination she gave me was she pressed on my spine and asked if it hurt, well no it didn't cos the pain is in my shoulder and base of my neck. The fact that I'm almost crying with pain is normal the pins and needles in my fingers is normal taking 8 ibuprophen a day plus extra power pain killers is normal  She did say if the pain gets too bad to take 2 ibuprophen and rest  What a waste of time, The stupid B*tch  My friend knows a physio who comes to your home so maybe thats what I will have to do PAY. If I was always at the Drs I could understand being fobbed off but this is my second visit in 2 years!! Sorry for ranting on. Anyway I'm being taken for lunch by DH to cheer me up :D Will catch up with you all later x

Oh Flourgirl! I'm so sorry to hear about your Dr visit I agree your comment "The stupid B*tch  " There was I last week thinking you'd be ok with someone newer. Don't feel you need to apologise on here - we understand just wish there was something helpful I could do.
Are you going to tryto see your own GP - think I would - and insist on a same day appointment too. You shouldn't need that level of pain relief for "normal" & pins & needles in your hand is definitely wrong.

Flourgirl, that is painful and bl**dy stupid of the woman too. Sadly, it seems that you just have to keep on until they do something, it's not good to take ibuprofen for that long. The physio will definitely help or a sports injury clinic. We seem to have a two tier health system these days. If the pain gets that bad, check with your chemist but I think you can take codeine with ibuprofen but check first, DH takes it when he get a migraine. I can't take anything other than paracetamol so I am talking from the sidelines, so to speak.
