We have just had an enormous clap of thunder, dawntb I think your rain is heading across to Doncaster. OOOOh another one, I think we are in for a right storm.

Well done saveapenny, so glad you have your holidays organised, I'm sure you will have a fabulous time. No cooking cleaning or shopping for 2 weeks.... heaven..

Melissa I can't believe you are due next month, must be the fastest pregnancy ever although I don't suppose it does to you. The last few weeks are the most uncomfortable, at least we are not having a heat wave lol.

I have made my CP card swap and ATC swap. First time I have made an ATC so not sure if I have done it right so I pity the poor person who gets it.

I rang the Drs this morning and the earliest appointment is Monday 9am for a Dr I'm not sure of, I think she is straight out of Med school, for my Dr the receptionist said if it was urgent I could try ringing next friday:eek:

We had a thunder storm earlier, lunchtime I think, DS2 didn't know what the noise was and got quite scared bless him.

I'm unsure about my ATC too but quite like it, maybe us ATC novices will get each other to swap with ;)

Your doctors sounds as good as ours. I would go Monday and if you're not happy with what happens then try again to make an appointment with your doctor. I think all drs receptionists have the same training, next friday, what good is that to you
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

    Snippety snip,

It's been mental here in Sheffield - bringing back a few nasty memories of the flood 2 years ago. Started to rain heavily about 3.30 then proper chucked it down -with hail - IN JUNE!

Went to the gym at Pinds Froge but they put out an announcement 20 mins in to say that all those in lower car park should move their cars. Had to go and find my boy in his street dance class and by the time I got to the car park it was nearly knee deep. My front garden is just a nuisance - I think its something to do with the angle of slope or something but I live on a hill and all the rain runs doen the hill till it gets to my house, then it all runs down my drive bringing litter and leaves with it that block the drain. Luckily, was only ankle high when I got back but I had to stick my hands into the dirty water to clear the drains then sweep away all the rubbish. On the bright side , my trousers and trainers couldn't get any wetter after the car park escapade!

Picture 1 here so shows someone who wasn't quite as quick as I was at the car park . Yikes!

Wishing you good luck in Doncaster!

Rainmac Great news about the order, your cards are fab so don't be nervous, she wouldn't have ordered them if she didn't like how you made them. My sister has asked me to put a box of cards together and she will take them to work and try to sell them for me, the trouble is I don't really know how much to charge. Most of the ones I have done are the challenge cards or the ones on my blog plus a pile of stitched ones I have. I was thinking £1.50-£2.00 each what do you think?

Wow, they are gorgeous!!! Looking forward to seeing what you do with those :D I don't need them, I DON'T NEED THEM... :p

I bought a couple of stamps yesterday...

    Inkadinkado_Butterfly_Scroll.jpg

They are by Inkadinkado, I think they are cute and only £1.99 each (but p&p was £3 so it makes them £3.50 each ).

Ooh they're lurvely where did you get them from?

I am a bit behind so some of my comments will be "old news !".

Rainmac - Congratulations on your magazine spread - everything you do is so lovely so the recognition is well deserved. I love your new stamps and I am surprised that people do not knock your door down trying to order cards from you :D

Flourgirl - Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I do not understand how some Doctors can make you wait so long for an appointment. We have to phone up in the morning for a same day appointment at ours which means you get a blister on your finger from pressing the redial button :rotfl:

Dawnteabag - Great cards, I have left a comment on your blog

Paddingtondoo - Lovely stamps. I stumbled across some lovely stitched patterns this morning for Art Nouveau - is this the same thing ?

Marg - Thanks for your kind comments regarding my cards

Melissa75 - Thanks for your kind comments regarding my cards. I will PM you the details of the giraffe stamp. I know you have other children but try to make the most of the time you have left and put your feet up.

Louby Lou Lou - :j CONGRATULATIONS :j I am so pleased for you xx

Gemm - Don't stress about replying to my email, I know you are a very busy girly :D I managed to add the picture to CP via photobucket, the only problem now is that the photo is huge and has knocked the dimensions of the page out !!! I do think CP hates me :rotfl:

Saveapenny - I'm so jealous, your cruise sounds lovely

Well, I think I have caught up - I'm off for my daily fix of colouring in !!
