I have just received the shaper cutter from the craft beautiful subscription. it's nothing like I imagined it to be - don't pictures make things look so much bigger! it came with 3 sets of shapes, a fiskars border punch and a fiskars finger tip swivel knife. I think this is a good deal - and of course a magazine to read!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Rainmac - what a fab selection of cards!!
Flourgirl - great sketch, I really need to break away from my normal style 'cos every card that I make is basically the same layout - so I'll definately try and take part in this challenge! Thanks for showing us your beautiful card as an example - I love your ribbon - it really sets the card off.
Rusty - thanks!!!
Well I won one of the gorjuss stamps on ebay and it arrived today, so I've already stamped 10 images and hopefully I'll get some colouring done later.0 -
Rainmac - ta!! I spend hours trying to match everything up - sometimes it'll take me days to make one card as I try to figure out where I've put something. I never know whether its best to choose your paper first and then colour your stamped image to match or do it vice versa!! Fantastic news about your letter getting published - congrats - how exciting winning a prize!!!0

Flourgirl - thanks for setting a challenge, gorgeous card :T
Rainmac - well done on getting your stitching in print, its no wonder though, as its so good :T and what a lovely selection of cards you've been sent
Melissa - your cards are all gorgeous :T
Has anyone ever used 'The Craft Barn' and if so what was the service like ?. I am thinking of ordering some of the card candy from them as p&p is 10% rather than a fixed price(I think)0 -
I've got one, from the NEC for £3 (they are £15 in Hobbycraft) and a stall was selling a couple of the templates for £1 each so bought those too. Haven't played with it yet because I am scared I won't be able to do it properly
It's still in it's packaging actually. Think I should be braver and give it a go!!!
Hi I was just gonna post exactly the same to you Rusty but Rainmac has beaten me to it!!
I had wanted one for ages and did quite a lot of research and it turns out they are like Marmite!! You love em or loathe them!! So I wasn't prpepared to spend loads on one then I saw them at the NEC and led Rainmac and Choccy Orange astray and they got one each too!!
Now Choccy on the other had does actually use hers so hopegully she will post on here!0 -

Babyfreckles - welcome to the thread. I've just had a look at your blog - there's some fantastic cards on there - I really like your jungle one! I have just got into promarkers myself and I love them! I have spent the last hour or so trying to blend them with a bit of success!0
