I haven't been on for ages as it wants me to log in but everytime I do log in I get the dreaded magician!!
I can do the same as Paddington and add you to the list if you can't get on/in. Would you like to play in the Card Swap?
My legs still hurt from doing the Race for Life on SATURDAY, 4 days ago, I am soooo unfit!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I am in a happy place. I have lovely cyber friends :A:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

We had a little discussion on the Fiskars Shapecutter on craftyplace.
here's my 2cents:
Fiskars shape cutter - brilliant!
Now that I've figured out how to use it that is!
I looked here: http://www.scrapbook.com/blog/view/65577.html and then watched the video here: http://fiskarscrafts.com/tv/ (go to the menu on the bottom right of the TV box, click 'next' and then click on 05/31/2005: Ultra ShapeExpress. The video is for the newer model whereas I have the old version but it works the same.
The bits to remember:
- make sure you use a smooth self-healing craft mat underneath
- make sure the template is the correct side up: the word Fiskars should be be facing you
- apply LIGHT pressure TOWARDS THE TEMPLATE SIDES and not on the paper/card
Hope this helps someone.
Give it a go and see how you get on!"Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

Card Challenge this time is this sketch, there will be a draw and a prize although it may be a little late as I am away from friday for a week. I have kept it simple so you can feel free to use your lovely embellishments and ribbons. The image can be anything you like. I hope this is ok with everyone and I hope all our new ladies will join in. I have made one just to start you off. I've been busy this morning so will catch up with you all later, sorry for the rushed post I have to go to see my mum and dad now.0

Mel, your cards are stunning. I love everything about them, you use such gorgeous papers and your colouring is fab
I have just had an email from a cross stitch magazine to say a letter I sent in is going to be published in the next issue and I will get a mystery prize! I emailed the magazine some pictures of the stitched Easter cards I had made. How exciting :j I have been in print 3 times before in stitching magazines and have received a large kit (sold on ebay) and a bouquet of flowers for being letter of the month.
