Here is my latest card. I made it for SIL's birthday last week. The colours matched better that it seems on the photo. I thought I might have used it for the 3's recipe challenge on the Crafty Place but there are 4 card candy & sparkles so, back to the drawing board.......

Saveapenny - we went to see the Queen tribute band on Sunday night they were fantastic I can recommend if you get chance to see them.

Mumhug - well done on your freecycle 'bits' it restores your faith in human nature doesn't it to get something better than you expect?

Flourgirl - really pretty card & crochet?ed? flowers.

    Gemma - signed please.

So glad you're back & feeling better Rusty I've just had a little cheer to myself - we've missed you & I don't like to think of loosing my friends on here. How's your back pain, better I hope?

Well what a weekend - Sat night youngest son went to bed as usual but woke at about 1am and would not stop coughing, he cried all night poor thing so none of us got any sleep. On Sun OH took him to the walk in clinic as he was having trouble breathing still. This has happened before - whenever Brandon gets a cold it goes straight to his chest and he really struggles. Anyway I sat waiting at home nervously and OH phoned to say they had taken Brandon to the hospital for "tests". I ended up going down there about 7 and took over from OH and ended up staying the night with Brandon. They didn't release him until about 5 yesterday - they sent him home with an inhaler. He's much better now - thank goodness! So a pretty poor bank holiday really. It was funny in the hospital - at about 8 o'clock all the mothers were asking the nurses if we could have the tvs on, then everyone sat watching Britain's Got Talent.

Dragonflew - I didn't get round to making the card (see above!!) and its too late now - I was really stressing about it on Sat night - I really hate men's cards!!!!!! I managed to find a decoupaged image and layered that up, if you want it I can send it to you.

Bunbun - thanks for the tip about the card making mag!

Nic2075/ craftgranny - I'm following your blogs and I'll try and catch up on everyone's later and leave comments.

Flourgirl - absolutely beautiful crocheted flowers - you are clever. I love the thread that you've used, did they take long to make??

Npsmama - a stamp swap sounds like a fab idea - unfortunately I've only got a couple of stamps - I'm planning on buying a lot more!

Mumhug - sounds like you came away with a fab bag of stuff from freecycle - I would be smiling too!

Marg - lovely card, really pretty colours.

Rusty - so glad that you're back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
