Gemms The Wife and Hels welcome home hope you all had a fabulous holiday.

We went away today for a few days, and came straight back home again :( We took the caravan to York when we arrived on site it was fully booked, the pitch they offered us was in a ploughed field with 2 ft high grass. The man told us we could go back on Tuesday as the site would be almost empty, I had to bite my tongue:mad:

So hopefully the weather will be nice so I can catch up with the gardening, I have Sprouts Leeks and cucumbers to plant up. Then we may go to Lincoln on Tuesday for 4 days.

How annoying. Hope you get away next week ;)

Rainmac Did you ask if anyone had seen any plastic coloured Sundae Glasses? Because I saw some in Morrisons yesterday in the garden section 75p each.

Rusty I'm thinking of you, take lots of care, we are here for you when you're ready. xx

I did ask and haven't sorted any yet (haven't actually done much of what I was planning this week to be honest), looks like I'll be heading to Morrisons, thank you x

I've got a card order to do for a 21st birthday card his interests are poker, golf, fishing need some ideas have thought about using playing cards on the front for 21 has anyone got any other ideas or seen anything anywhere having a bit of a brain freeze on this one.

    dragonllew,

How about a card shaped as a golf bag with pictures of a golf club, playing cards, a fish and a rod coming out of the top of the bag? Or does that sound a bit silly using all the interests together?

    Evening ladies,

I must apologise, I have been reading the threads however I have been AWOL as has been noticed by quite a few of you.

I apologise as I thought I could slip away and not be noticed but apparently lots of you noticed, so I must say sorry now I don't mean to be ignorant, I haven't thanked any of the posts or commented on the cards. I am having a really bad time, and unfortunately I am not strong enough to deal with it all so have just cracked up and hid from everything. I logged out of the forum as I didn't want to depress anyone else etc. Most of you know most of the things going on in my life, some more than others and most of you don't even know the half of it. I know life is tough for everyone, I have coped better than most with horrible things that have been thrown at me but I have now cracked. I felt I had to come on and post to apologise for being AWOL and to just say to people not to worry, I really appreciate your friendship but I just can't talk about everything at the moment and also thankyou, for all of your support etc.
Some of you will have seen my latest card on my blog (the bikini one) and have commented.

Also thankyou to Mumhug for my award, I have passed it on to 7 people, details on my blog.

Once again thankyou to you all (you know who you are) and apologies to all for being AWOL. I am about to log out and hide for a bit again ... just til someone turns that light on at the end of the tunnel ... hopefully it will be turned on soon!

Take care all and please keep posting the cards, you have all been a real inspiration for me xxxx

Rusty - I'm so sorry to hear that you are having a crappie time at the moment - thinking of you and sending you big hugs:grouphug: You know where we all are if you want rant or if any of us can help.xxx

Kim it's Basic Grey Sultry. It's from a 6x6 pad.

I was just about to pm you.

thanks for your ideas ladies saveapenny I have pm'd you, flourgirl thanks but not sure whether a stitched card would go down very well with this particular person. Rainmac that was the sort of thing I was thinking although I thought could use a jack and an ace to stand for 21. Lucy Lu will perhaps have a go and see if I can combine all the ideas together I qhuite like the idea of using a golf caddy.

Rusty sending you big hugs and hope you come back soon.

I love the idea of the ace and jack to make 21, you could maybe but pictures of the cards on the golf caddy?

Thanks for posting the link to the 12x12 Scrapbook kits Kim-Possible and to Gemm for posting the discount code for the 15% off.

Just ordered the Sultry one :D.

Wishing everyone a great Bank Holiday weekend and hope you get time for card making. I'm off to Great Yarmouth first thing in the morning with my youngest son, for 2 nights so hope the weather holds out. If it doesn't the we will have to find shelter in the amusement arcades - I love 'em :rotfl:.

    xx
