Gemms The Wife and Hels welcome home hope you all had a fabulous holiday.

We went away today for a few days, and came straight back home again :( We took the caravan to York when we arrived on site it was fully booked, the pitch they offered us was in a ploughed field with 2 ft high grass. The man told us we could go back on Tuesday as the site would be almost empty, I had to bite my tongue:mad:

So hopefully the weather will be nice so I can catch up with the gardening, I have Sprouts Leeks and cucumbers to plant up. Then we may go to Lincoln on Tuesday for 4 days.

Rusty - I'm really sorry to hear life is so painful at the moment.
Please don't apologise to us - I'm sure everyone agrees when I say that we won't be offended - why would we be? You haven't done anything wrong!

I hope you manage to get some strength back soon. We'll miss you and be thinking of you. :grouphug:

The members sites we use are "No booking required" They are just a field with a tap and emptying point, apparantly some of the field had been flooded so space was tight and so changed it to a Booked Meet and I think kept that info for their section of the club. The part of the field they were using had grass like a lawn and every pitch marked out properly, I think it was the dumpit site they wanted to pitch us on.

I hope things get better for you Rusty.

I went to a card making group this morning at a local community centre, it was lovely. I paid £3 for three hours which covers the hire of the room, hot drinks and biscuits. It was someone's birthday last week and she bought cakes in, we muched on cake while we all did our own thing and talked all things craft, it was lovely. There's a demo next week from one of the people in the class which will be good.

My parents have very kindly ordered me an early birthday present, today's special value on QVC, it's called the making memories slice die cutter. I saw the demo and thought it was amazing. I don't have many letters and the die cutter will make them for me, along with some other shapes. If you order today it will be £150 and it comes with a tool kit, spare blades, a mat, special adhesive, instructions and a selection of papers. After today it will go up to £180. I've looked on the internet and can't find it in Britain will all these extras for that price, from what I can see you have to buy the toolkit seperately elsewhere. It's expensive but I am viewing it as an investment. For anyone who is interested, here is the link... http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.frames.y.tpl.uktsv.item.tsv/walk.html.|tsvmetadrill,html?cm_re=Promos-_-TSV-_-P:588091

I just hope my parents don't make me wait until my birthday (July) to let me play with it! (They will make me wait, I know they will, but I'll try!)

    Evening ladies,

I must apologise, I have been reading the threads however I have been AWOL as has been noticed by quite a few of you.

I apologise as I thought I could slip away and not be noticed but apparently lots of you noticed, so I must say sorry now I don't mean to be ignorant, I haven't thanked any of the posts or commented on the cards. I am having a really bad time, and unfortunately I am not strong enough to deal with it all so have just cracked up and hid from everything. I logged out of the forum as I didn't want to depress anyone else etc. Most of you know most of the things going on in my life, some more than others and most of you don't even know the half of it. I know life is tough for everyone, I have coped better than most with horrible things that have been thrown at me but I have now cracked. I felt I had to come on and post to apologise for being AWOL and to just say to people not to worry, I really appreciate your friendship but I just can't talk about everything at the moment and also thankyou, for all of your support etc.
Some of you will have seen my latest card on my blog (the bikini one) and have commented.

Also thankyou to Mumhug for my award, I have passed it on to 7 people, details on my blog.

Once again thankyou to you all (you know who you are) and apologies to all for being AWOL. I am about to log out and hide for a bit again ... just til someone turns that light on at the end of the tunnel ... hopefully it will be turned on soon!

Take care all and please keep posting the cards, you have all been a real inspiration for me xxxx

We're all friends so no apologies needed lady. You look after yourself and you know where we all are xxx

Rainmac Did you ask if anyone had seen any plastic coloured Sundae Glasses? Because I saw some in Morrisons yesterday in the garden section 75p each.

Rusty I'm thinking of you, take lots of care, we are here for you when you're ready. xx
