    Hello Everyone!
I've got some cards to post later but not got them off my camera yet. They have taken ages & much angst to do but I'm pleased I resisted the temptation to go & buy.

Some lovely cards, very pretty CT, Flourgirl, & saveapenny. Rusty yours are so straight & Mumhug yours so scary!

Gemma - Have a wonderful holiday! - I also 'spring clean' before I go away so it's nice to come home.

Saveapenny - Harry is gorgeous! Can I come tomorrow for a cuddle? Sorry for your hubby that his team lost but they shouldn't have pinched our manager!!!:rotfl:
My OH doesn't do football but my brothers & nephews are all fanatical supporters.

:confused:Can I ask about ATC's? Are they just little "bussness card size" decorated front and back with embelishments/pictures?

Hi Kim - I think it was npsmama who posted this link about ATCs a while back when I said that I didn't understand them.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Rusty - great cards, and such lovely rounded corners. ;)
mumhug - your sister will love them (even though most people wouldn't! :p). Very goth.
Hamish - couldn't leave a comment on your blog, but I love your green fairy card.
CT - great card. I think the usual rule when there's a prize on offer is just that you haven't posted the card anywhere else before (don't think MSE counts though ;))
saveapenny - Harry's gorgeous, have fun with him tomorrow. It's a bit scary that when I see cute babies I don't feel broody as such, I just think I can't wait to be a grandma! (If DD is reading this, I'm not in that much of a hurry!)

CT This is the link for the free stitching patterns. If there are any others you like on the site please ask me first as I have lots of them:)

    Hello Flourgirl

I have been looking at the site and am going to order the golf one as my mum wants me to make a card for one of her good friends.

Can I ask a stupid question ? Do you hide the threads on the back of the card (ie the inside) ? If you do, what do you use ?

Thanks in advance for your advice :D

Goodness me, this thread moves quickly, I only had one night off :rotfl:

    Right here goes ...

Mumhug - lovely cards, I too find them very scary :D

Rusty - beautiful cards, I want to buy some blue paper now. Please stop putting up the images as I am getting obsessed with colouring in things. Even my DS has started to try and use water on his colouring book (this was after his mean mum would not let him use her new pencils) :rotfl:

Saveapenny - another beautiful card, Harry looks an absolute joy, enjoy babysitting. Your family is very lucky to have you close so you are able to help out. My DS is now 13 weeks and the time has flown by.

CT - lovely card - minimalist but very pretty

Hamish - I love your Fairy card, I couldn't leave you a comment either

Well everyone, it is pouring with rain here which means only one thing - cardmaking :T :j :T hooray !

Have a good day Emma x

Emma, I am not sure, but would guess that you put an insert into the card and stick it down the middle as you would usually do, and the stick the left hand side down as well, so that you are hiding the stitching. This is what i'm going to do anyway when I do one for my MIL, and will use some pearlesent (?) paper as it is a bit thicker than normal printer paper.

I'm sure if this isn't how Flourgirl does it she'll reply as well to your query.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

    Thanks CT :D

I have just heard on the news that the person killed in Afghanistan yesterday was in the Armoured Support Group which is the same troop as my OH !!!!!

I cannot believe it - they are in the process of handing over as the tour ends next month.

    I feel completely gutted.

Hello EmmaOC - I'm sorry to hear that - it's horrid that anyone dies in that way but so much worse if they are from the same 'Group' as your loved ones. It always makes me feel sad. x

Morning ladies, just a quicky from me today as I am in court this afternoon :(

Thankyou for all the kind comments on my cards :)

I bought some ATC sized cards off ebay not so long ago ... haven't touched them yet lol I really should but I don't think I could make them look pretty!
