Sally, that's lovely :) And I think there's still a week to go on the green challenge. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm feeling sorry for myself. Instead of sitting an exam this morning, I was at the doctor's. I'd been feeling quite ill all weekend with a sore throat, aching all over and breaking into cold sweats; he's confirmed it's a viral infection (and therefore contagious). I don't know when I'll be able to re-sit, or if it will affect my graduation date (November). :(
Every cloud though - I've been ordered to take a couple of days bed rest, and all my card-making stuff is in my bedroom ;)

Aweee, sorry to hear you're feeling poorly, JHB, I hope you're able to take the re-sit ok. Probably someone else has had it, and didn't bother to stay at home, so at least you're being considerate by not going in. I'm sure you'll have the strength to do some crafting - lol

    Thanks, JHB

Oh no Jailhouse, a few days rest should get you right.

Didn't manage to get on here over the weekend, so now I'm reading back on the thread. When you guys print papers off for your cards, do you print them on photography paper etc? I always buy papers, but realise I can save money here......

I've only used photography paper for decoupage; I use normal paper for backing paper, and thin card for stamped images that I want to colour in.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

For printing papers and decoupage I am using Staples 160gsm white paper and it's excellent quality. I just set the printer for text and image, but if I have downloaded a stamped image I set the printer for Photo quality. I have also used Photo paper from the £1 shop for decoupage with good results. My printer is an Epsom Dx8400all in one job.

The show is also on in Glasgow 22nd-25th October.

Jailhouse and 1982girl sorry to hear you're both not well at the moment, take care both of you and get some rest.

It must be the day for going to the Doctors, I've been this morning, for the past week or so I've had achey boobs and convinced myself something was wrong, anyway nothing there but going for a mamagram to make sure. They were supposed to ring me with an appointment before 12.30 and I've heard nothing:mad: the appointments clerk is on half day so I have to ring in the morning:mad:
