Skiergirl - I've heard that costco can be quite good for storage products for crafts - I've never been myself though.0

Rusty - I hope everything will be okay for you - I just sent you some masculine chipboard pieces and ribbons to go with your papers and a few basic grey papers. Don't rush to send me the other images - sounds like you've got a busy enough weekend already.0

Rusty - I know my postie has been a bit annoyed with me this week - I've had quite a bit delivered!!!0

My postie is never seen these days. He popped a note through the door today to say he'd left a parcel in the bin as we were out; but we weren't. He didn't even knock, and when DD went straight to the door when she heard the leaflet come through, he was nowhere to be seen. Last week he knocked the door and must have heard the dog barking and me telling it to shut up. When I answered the door there was nobody in sight, so I leaned out to look around, and realised there was a parcel on the doorstep.
I think he doesn't like dogssome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

dawn - have commented on your blog and become a follower, I never thought to look in costco for craft stuff
(we have to go past costco to get to the range
)
Quick answer to all your questions re Costco.
The papers were ridiculously cheap but I've not got the label anymore so I can't give exact details. From memory, there were 240 sheets in a carrying bag for less than £20. As always with big sets there was a lot of stuff that wasn't to my taste - I gave all that away to my auntie but there are some really lovely papers in there.
this auction is the same papers I think but you get 4 of each design in 12x12

I'm popping in on Sunday so will report back
They also sell handmade/mulberry paper in a variety of colour schemes. I think they're about 50 sheets for £8 ish. There construction paper is reasonable priced according to my sister but I've no idea whether she is right or not. They also sell scrapbooking sets occasionally and they also do great stoarge. I bought some lovely leather scrapbooks there for about £13 for 2.
I wouldn't recommend that anyone join just for the craft stuff though because it comes and goes. You have to buy it when you see it. Theres a thread on the "shop but don't drop" thread with other peoples views on what's good and what's not at Costco. I maintain my membership to buy the birthday cakes and for photos - they are soo cheap - I'm ordering a 16" x 12" photo this weekend and it's about £2. Very good quality too.
EDIT
Cripes - just done my maths and if there's 70 designs and 4 sheets of each then its 280 sheets!0 -

I was a little concerned as they're closing down, but thought it wouldn't hurt to spend £6 (which would probably be covered by worldpay anyway). My order has just been delivered! Perfectly packaged and in good condition in a large jiffy bag - the stamp is showing as £2.14. I feel like I've robbed her
I had the same concerns but also had the same experience - my parcel arrived within 2 days and so carefully packaged too."Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."
