Hi Sally - it's not strictly speaking a card - its a scrapbook layout but I'm thinking of giving it to my sis for her Birthday instead of a card.

I love the picture too its of My Granny and Grandad on their honeymoon in 1948. My Grandad looks so handsome and proud. He died a few years ago and I've got all the photos he kept in his wardrobe and am planning to get them all scrapbooked up as they deserve better than that. I rang Granny last night to get the dates right. I'll have to show her it when I next visit.

http://www.happystampers.co.uk/ is closing down and has free p&p and 70% off everything. Not much left though.

I placed an order with happystampers yesterday. I was a little concerned as they're closing down, but thought it wouldn't hurt to spend £6 (which would probably be covered by worldpay anyway). My order has just been delivered! Perfectly packaged and in good condition in a large jiffy bag - the stamp is showing as £2.14. I feel like I've robbed her :o

Will catch up on posts later; I have some parcels to post ;)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

What fab cards on this thread/blogs lately - there is just so much creativity around.

Rusty - great green challenge card - I love the cottage nestled in the trees. Your Zoo card is brilliant, as is the Geisha girl, and the americal football one too. Well done. I agree with the others, they are all good enough to sell.

Mookybargirl - lovely green challenge cared - I love the cake tiers. Well done.

Mumhug - great challenge card - left a message on your blog.

Flourgirl - lovely challenge card - the colours work so well together and love the design and layout.

Melissa - thank you for showing us the difference between whisper pens and promarkers. I always wondered what the difference was, and resist for the time being buying the promarkers for a bit longer.

Skiergirl - glad you have blog - I'm stalking you too! Can't wait to see some more of your cards.

Dragonlew - great challenge card - love the effect of the embossing powder on the fairy.

Furrypig - thanks for the link to PLM stamping tutorial.

OAP1945 - I am afraid I have cheated, as I don't own a cuttlebug, and wouldn't have the patience to do it by hand. I bought the dress from the Papermill Shop and the cream paper from a set of handmade papers from the Works.

Dawnteabag - what a fab scrapbook page, very personal - I just love old black and white photos.

Been out shopping this morning, and come home to find a message from my bank to say they think my credit card has been cloned. It has so I am now creditcard less for the next week, until they sort it out. I'm getting a bit fed up, as this is the third time in 3 years that it has happened to me and I hardly every use my credit card and am very careful when I do. Still it will make me stop spending money on craft sites for a bit.

Off to make some more cards, will update my blog later.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Zoe nice to see you back, can't wait to see what you create with your flocking kit (whats one of them?)

Dawn, what a beautiful page! really pretty, can I ask how much your papers were from costco?

CT sorry to hear about your card? is it the same card that keeps being cloned? i.e same company? might be worth thinking about changing companys if it keeps happening.
Thankyou for the kind comments on my cards :)

Wow I am completely overwhelmed at peoples kindness on this thread, my poor postman officially hates me, I had a parcel arrive from craftygranny as a thankyou for something I am doing (can't say anymore) and it was stuffed full of crafting goodies (have put up a post on my blog)
Then I had a nice chunky looking parcel from Hamish (thankyou ever so much you are lovely!) full of stamped images that she has very kindly done for me and they were tucked inside one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen! Has given me some real inspiration!!
Lots of stamped images sent by email from Saveapenny, Thankyou ever so much!! they are beautiful!
Then my order from the glitterpot arrived so I have a tilda stamp and some 6x6 cupcake papers, aswell as the dovecraft ones I have just purchased from boundary mill!

    Hi Rusty

Yes it is the same CC that keeps getting cloned, so every time it does they just issue me with a new number and card that has nothing to do with the one that was cloned. I'm with First Direct and don't have any other problems with the 6 other accounts I have with them. What is annoying though is that I only use it for say 50 perchases over a year, and my OH uses his constantly for everything, except withdrawing case and then pays it off in full every month and his has never been cloned. The bank just say that I am unlucky and it doesn't affect me having a credit card with them. I have stopped using it in petrol stations and use more cash now. Thankfully it has been done, now and they have stopped the card and not in 4 weeks when I will be in New York, so there is a bright side!
