flourgirl - might try that out once I've finished the cross stitch tea cup.
Saw somewhere, can't remember where, a winnie the pooh picture done in a sort of back stitch - anyone know anything about it ? Would love to have a go at that for baby grandsons birthday card

Lovely to have a craft site and it looks really good -but hope everyone doesn't disappear never to be seen here again_pale_

Winnie the pooh - there is a watercolour type design that has tent stitch in faded colours as a background don't think I've seen the backstitch. So this would be an embroidery then not done on aida?

I saw some Tilda designs where you backstich a design then use special fabric paints to create the colour, so it looks like a painting.

Amazing what they come up with nowadays.

Rainmac - 'on the edge of an abyss' is exactly how I feel most of the time.......it's been a bit crazy here this week I'm worn out. - I envy you & Rusty your pyjama days.

Dragonllew - Love your Arsenal - even tho' I'm 'up North' I've got stuff ready to do an Arsenal card later in the year.

Flourgirl - at the hourly rate for flying light aircraft I reckon you could have parcels delivered EVERY day of the year!! It's my OH's hobby too:D He's struggling to get the hours in just at the moment but when the weather improves a bit I wont see much of him during daylight hours. Remember, I told you he'd had an Xmas card in your style of doing backing paper? It was from a flying club!! Love your stitched card I want to try one.

Skiergirl - That's what happened to my blog page too so I chickened out and deleted it all together but after I'd done that someone (I think Saveapenny) said I should alter the settings to Private but can't remember just where you do it.

Now I've typed all that forgotten who else to answer!! Alzheimers? I'll pop back later.
