Rainmac- glad you survived the birthday party
Hopefully your boys will be shattered and go to bed early tonight :rotfl:
Your easter card is lovely :j and thank you for the post about that issue of cross stitch crazy, I managed to track it down but haven't had a chance to try doing them yet :T0 -
Glad you survived the party rainmac, It's amazing how late kids can stay up at night and still wake up really early the next morning:mad: Just when you fancy a lay in yourself.
Hope everyone has had a nice Mother's Day and you all got lots of flowers and chocolates.
Just made 2 cards today from the Pink Petticoat images and posted them on my new blog.

flourgirl - they're lovely :j
Can I ask for some help please - does anyone have any 'New Home' cards on their blog ? I need to make one for a couple of weeks time BUT its for someone elderly who is leaving their home to go into a flat. Any ideas, as all the cards I've found have houses on them ?
Thank you0 -
Hi Skiergirl - I've got a few images that might be helpful - I could email them if you pm me your email address. Some ideas might be:
-a letterbox with a cute hedgehog pushing a letter through
-a photo of a jug with flowers
-a front door (image I have has flowers round the door though)
-a packing box with china & straw
-a pic of a gift box with words like 'happy new home' instead of ribbons
suppose it depends how elderly if they appreciate 'cute'.
Flourgirl your cards are really pretty - think I'll have to take the plunge & get some pink petticoat stuff.
Rainmac - wish my eyesight was better so I could cross stitch - I used to like doing it - Love your Easter card
Dragonllew - I got those images too - your cards look great - inspired me.0 -

Thank you for the lovely comments ladiesThe cards were from the NEC, but you can buy them online from the seller... http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/embellishments_list.asp?type=emb&embellishment=171
The cards I bought were 50 for £5 including envelopes, code: B2BSC5W. They also sell a larger size but were out of stock at the show otherwise I think both me and mel would have bought those too
Flourgirl, love your Pink Petticoat cards, they are so pretty :T:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thanks for the link rainmac, I will probably order some of those, postage is a bit steep tho £3,95 so will need to have a good look and see if there is anything else I need..........want...;)0
