Do any of you buy any of the card making magazines? I've seen one in the paper shop that is £7.99 which I would normall think is a bit steep for a magazine, but you get loads free with it to make about 25 cards. I can't remember the name of the magazine but it's a spring special issue or something.
Is it worth buying just for the freebies?*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
Hi s_michaels
I've bought the march issue of 'You can craft' magazine which is 7.99. It comes with 10 blank cards in bright colours but no envelopes, 4 sheets of double sided thick paper, a small stencil, 3 foam sheets, a decoupage sheet,, 2 very short lengths of ribbon, some beads and sequins and 11 die cuts.
Although the outside says there are x number of projects they don't provide enough materials to do all of them as eg the papers are double sided so its one card or another IYSWIM.
Hope that helps0 -
Did you think it was worth buying though?*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0

For me it probably is worth buying to build up supplies as I've only just started card making, also its got lots of ideas for card design. IMHO if you're a beginner I'd say yes, but if you're an experienced cardmaker you'll probably get better ideas on here.0
