Hi Pink-Winged yes i have a Cuttlebug and i LOVE IT ive used it quite abit this week actually my advice get all of the embossing folders :rotfl: :rotfl: The cuttlebug folders and dies are great you can use other makes of dies but i havnt i have quite a few of the embossing folders and only 2 cutting dies the swiss dots and the divine swirls i would highly recomend as they are so virsatlie. My other folders are all Christmas i have just managed to get the lace tree which i love but have just found out they have discontinued it. Ebay is too dear i would either google and go for the cheapest price or try your local craft shop the embossing folders are usually priced around £3.95.£4.20 not sure about the dies. Try www.theglitterpot.co.uk or put cuttlebug in your serch engine hope this helps xxxx0

Polly, Your cards are lovely....I especially like the Christmas tree one.
Thanks so much for your advice on cuttlebug...you're a star! :T I have ordered both the swiss dots and the divine swirls. Unfortunately I got a bit carried away and have also ordered just my type, tree topsand flowersThe website I've linked to seems quite reasonable and offers free p&p on cuttlebug dies.
I also really want beautifully boxed as that was the one they used in the demonstration and it looks really versatile but I decided I'd bought enough for one day. The other thing that looks really useful is the Olivia Alphabet set, but it's expensive so I'll hang fire on that for a while.
Can you tell I've done nothing all afternoon but drool over cuttlebug dies!

Mr Pink has ordered one for me for Christmas but I was wondering if any of you have one (Polly I think you do?) are there any particular dies and embossing folders you would recommend that you get most use out of? Also, apart from ebay, is there anywhere that it's good to buy them from?
I have a cuttlebug - Mr Padd bought it for my birthday as I'd grown out of my sidekick. I have divine swirl and spots and dots as well as lots of others.
The numbers one looks great as a background for kids birthday cards and I have the friend one which is great for cutting the words out of.
You can also use all the sizzix dies (not the bigz) with it as well.
The alphabets are brill - I have hippy chick, curls & swirls i think and type writer - I want red tag sale next.
I love my cuttlebug sooooo muchespecially as you can emboss really cheapy awful bits of paper and they look fabulous.
I get embossing folders from here with free p&p http://www.cardcraft-uk.co.uk/index.php?cPath=169_189
alphabets have come from ebay hippy chick was about £24
sizzex dies offers http://www.ellisondesign.co.uk/ p&p is £5 a bit steep unless you're doing a big orderOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
