    Hello everyone

PPP - beautiful Christening card, looks like it took ages to make, something to treasure forever!

Here is my entry for the current challenge, a square around album/ card for my mum for mother's day. I tried to make a card from chipboard letters and tie them together with ribbon but lets just say it didn't work as I had hoped so did this instead  I thoroughly enjoyed making it and found is far easier to assemble the base shape than I thought I would...

My mum loves gardening so the book has a gardening/floral sort of theme and I've included the poem mary, mary quite contrary on one of the pages. Have also used some stitching onto card (done for the first time). Each section has a different word written on a nameplate: live, life, love, laugh. The papers are by Basic Grey, Two Scoops as are some of the stickers. I used my new Quickutz Squeeze to make the pink framed on the front page, the flowers on the front and the nameplates on all the pages. I need to write some personal messages onto the backs of the tags in the pockets and then it is finished. Hope you like it.

Here's another sort of card I made for my mum's Mother's Day present. It's an exploding box with quotes about mums and words I associate with my mum. I have already showed this on the Thrifty Gifty thread but for those who don't get to that thread here are a couple of pics...
