i've just been to our craft shop and they didn't have the pink squeezey thingy in, she didn't sell them, i may well wait and see how yours goes, then get one.

I think they are being stocked by do crafts stockists. There's a black one, pink one and purple one I think. So glad I reserved one yesterday as they were sold out when I got to the shop at 10am today ;)

I use a craft knife and make a little tiny hole. Not sure if this is the best way to do it but it's what I've always done ;)

Saint-Chris I had an email from madaboutcards today saying they were selling the quickutz with a set of alphabet dies for 18 quid, they had a few colour options. Their postage is a bit steep though - 4 quid I think.
Furrypig - my Mum ordered me the wrong kit from QVC once - she got me a paper piercing kit with stencils and a pokey tool thing - so you could try and get hold of one of them.

They are out of stock on madaboutcards as i looked earlier! Tho the postage is dear they have lots of great items and were really efficient so I would definitely recommend them!

How weird, I have just ordered a pokey tool from ebay to help me with some stitching templates I've bought today (been a bit naughty but if the OH will leave me on my own for a fortnight with 2 kids he has to expect that the credit card bill is going to be a tad high this month  :o). The blurb about pokey tools said it is also perfect for making holes for brads and eyelets. I;ve never heard of a pokey tool but can't wait to get it as it has no end of uses :D.

Furrypig, I've ordered a set of 2, if you would like the other one please PM me your address and I'll send it to you (I only need one but it was cheaper to buy the set of 2).

  • Rainmac - the pokey tools are really useful although I am always losing mine. They are really good at picking up peel offs/ gems etc from their backing sheets and putting them in place.

Saint-Chris - I originally ordered mine from craftsulove so it might be worth trying them.
