Oooh Zoe, that is a fab card - what did you use as a template for the cupcake. Thanks.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • Love all the lovely cards...they are all great...

flourgirl, I joined that site and got the download for the cupcake paper, it looks lovely (need to get dh to print it for me at work now) Thanks :T

I am wondering what you guys use to work on when making your cards...I have been looking at those sort of rubber looking boards with scored lines in...do they make it easy to get straight edges? are they worth having do you think? or is there anything else I would be better off with? just thought I would ask as I am not sure what to get and don't want to waste too much cash....

  • Hi flourgirl - look forward to seeing some cards :) Will you be having a go at the challenge?

Zoe - that cupcake card is gorgeous, you've made me hungry just looking at it ;)

I've just made my card for the challenge; DD reckons it's her favourite challenge one I've done (tho it is only my third challenge :D ). I'll take a pic in the morning when the light's better and get it posted tomorrow evening.

ETA: Oops, sorry Zoe, meant to add that I hope everything is okay with Sinead. 5 hours in a hospital sounds like a total nightmare.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Hi CT I did not use a template with that card, I used a muffin case and cut it to the shape that I wanted. I then cut what I thought the top of the cake would look like and made a small cherry for the top.

I can try and make you one if you like, I am going to try and make some more toppers 2moz.

Welcome Flourgirl...I hope your going to join in the challenge and lookforward to seeing your cards

Orchid ...Yes I use one of those boards they are called self healin cuting mats and they are worth the money and last forever. I had a free glass one with some cutting templates and its rubbish

Talking of the craftercompanion is anyone else having problems with the cutting ruler? Mines snapped and hubby mended it but its finaly gone completely now, Its less than 6mths old to be honest I think its been a waste of money. I have emailed them but as to yet they havnt sent a replacement ruler out
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

Lovely cards Saveapenny and jailhouse and lovely cards to any one I may have missed.(I do not mean to miss any one lol just a bit sleep deprived.)

Any how my little is ok, I have decided to keep her off school again today and I do not think the school are too pleased about this. They asked a lot of questions on the phone, I know that my dd's attendance is poor but she has had a lot of illness since starting there.

She seems ok in her self just had a rough nite and she looks really pasty and yellow. The skin under her eyes (the bit you can pull out lol) is really really pale so its going to be a case of watching her closley today.

does anyone know which page the instructions are on for using photobucket please, I know I have read them somewhere, just can't find them again. Also is there a limit to the size of photo.? Hubby has set this up for me but I need to know how to do it myself.
    Thanks.
