Wow dawnteabag, your son's cards are really fab as is your memory box and dinosaur card :T

I'll let him know in the morning - he'll need cheering up as he's banned from using his DS tomorrow after sneaking it upstairs to play under the covers in bed.
I'm quite impressed with them myself considering I made him use the cards I really didn't like from the DCWV stacks from the artymiss sale!

He has his own little stash of stickers which we bought on the last day of trading in our woolworths for 10p a pack.

    Part of the Furniture
Reading post by ZLS1984 reminded me I got a blue plastic 'thingy' on the front of a craft magazine just before Christmas & have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it???? I thought the magazine might have an article about it but it didn't.
So does anyone know? Can you explain? Or should I bin it?
It might be an embossing plate

What does it look like? The ones that I have are double sided and have different patterns on either side, does it look like this.

I am going to try finish that card 2moz I keep putting it off lol. I am meant to be cleaning my daughters room but the poor wee mite has hurt her foot. She was messing around so I playfully tapped her leg with a book, only problem is she jumped and kicked the corner of her farm house. Her poor foot is cut and bruised ouchy, I panicked and flapped but my dad said it will be ok.

Any ways back to card making, I have found quite a few tutorials on YouTube that I want to try. I am going to try buy some kids card from poundstretcher and see if I can make something from that.

ZL and Marg...you use them by placing the card or paper over the top and rubbing either with the fiskar tool or anything like an embossing tool..its best to only use the size of paper or card you need and not to try and over the whole lot, also fix the board down. You can get some nice results using kiddies crayon and using it like an old fashioned brass rubbing or coloured pencils
    hope that help.
If you like it I have a load more some are going to Jailhouse but Im willing to share the rest out
PM me your address's if you want anymore
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
  • just sharing a few cards with you all! the first ones are ones i have made to sell at the schools craft club fair. the pupils that go don't know when to stop with their cards so have made some others as well. but they like going!! and a few birthday cards as well!
