OH just hands me his car keys then rolls his eyes when I creep in laiden down :rotfl:.
My friend's OH took her to Doncaster once and he sat outside reading a magazine and having tea brought to him by the organisersOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Has anyone ever been to one of the demonstrations before. Am contemplating bringing "& son" along with mebut I don;t know whether you're allowed to take your kiddies in with you. Then again, if I pay for him to join the demonstration there'll be 2 goody bags and I won't have to share mine!0

CGC Padster & bunbun dawnteabag - Harrogate is just about possible for the day from here but depends on date of Goddaughters birthday celebrations and DH bringing me.....so I can't say yet but I love the idea of a meet up.0 -
Well I've managed to make 2 of the 4 cards I had on my list. Pics on my blog.
Really had better get on with the ironing now. Had quite a busy weekend. Asked "& son" what he wanted to do yesterday morning and the answer was not exactly what you would expect from an 8 year old boy - "IKEA".
Had mentioned in passing that I was thinking of turning the spare room into an office/craft room and he's really been in to the idea all week -to the extent of taking measurements and drawing plans. So off we went, me having told him that going to IKEA on a Saturday was really not my idea of fun!
We were only supposed to be looking but then I thought I may as well get it over and done with so we bought 2 desks, 2 chairs, 2 lamps, 2 tidies, 2 desk mats, some storage jars, some storage boxes. I really don;t know how we managed to fit it all in the car.
Technically, the room is not ready for it being stuffed full with bits and bobs that I've never gotten around to finding space for, boxes of stuff that Ikeep on meaning to put on ebay, etc but I managed to find space for one of the desks so he made it yesterday (with a bit of help from me when the screws got a bit tight). He's soo proud of it.
I'm a little bit jealous tbh - there's no room for my desk until I can get my sister to take the furniture away that we've been storing for her so I've had to carry on working at my very messy dining room table whilst he's been upstairs. Harumph!0
