More Than One Yorkshire Bank Fixed Term Account?

Hi I am wondering if anyone knows if more than one account can be opened, like ICICI does. I can't find any info on the site:

Thanks for your help.

  • Call them today, they are removing the offer by 5pm today. Once you have applied by phone, you will have until the 25th to get the money in, I think. Check with them and don't wait.
  • Thanks for the info. As it's closing today I will now only need one account. I'd assume if I apply online before 5pm I will also have until 25th to get money in.

EDIT: Bah looks like I can't apply online even though it uses those words you have to download a PDF form and post it! That sucks.

Is this account even managable online? Martin says so in his article but I don't think it is.
  • Thanks guys for the info - extremely helpful as I was just about to post my application tomorrow instead of calling them.

I've just called now (6pm) and they stated they're taking applications until the call centre closes at 8pm today.

I'll then have 14 days to pay in the money from when I receive the paperwork from them.

  • Baldur, that's Yorkshire Building Society, not Yorkshire Bank. They want the fixed rate term deposit from Yorkshire Bank.

So long as you call them before 8pm, you should have 14 days to get the form in. If you don't call them and just print and send the form in, I think they give you a shorter deadline, like the 19th I think. Tick tock, 15 minutes left before lines close.

EDIT: The reason that I stated the 25th before was because I applied by phone on the 11th, so the guy stated the 25th, which was 14 days from my date of application. If you applied by phone today then you obviously have until the 28th to pay the funds in.
  • damn missed it. Do you think i can still get it by sending in a form tmw?
  • Yes. You have five days to get the form and cheque to them, if you didn't apply by phone in time. Print the form and send it.
