I Did something very stupid today:o

Parked up in Supermarket car park and didnt notice I had not put the handbrake on..........

I returned to my car to find that it had rolled forward into another car and broken a light cover and scratched the paintwork..............feel like a complete !!!!!!.

I left my mobile number on the windscreen but owner hasnt rang me yet, totally dreading it when they do.

Feeling really sorry for myself now and also have Hubby to face, he will have something to say for sure.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • BB, have you updated the days til the various meets hun? They are greatly motivating to me (ie. HOLY CACK! Can't believe I have to RUN 10K IN 218 DAYS!)

Louise you are a very honest person. 99.9% of people would have just driven off, or left the ' people thin I'm writing my number down' note.
if all I had was a broken light and someone had actually left their number I would ring them, thank them, and buy my own light.:T
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

oh Lou - what a nightmare, well done for being honest... i'm sure the person will be nice when they call.....

I had a dodgy handbrake for a while so always park in gear.... which is okay til you forget and switch engine on and car leaps forward.....!!!

  • Lou,
Don't worry my friend-it will be ok. Honest. If they do call, it will be very inexpensive to fix and how can DH be angry???

If he is, pass me the phone and we'll have a few 'words' Humph.

and how very honest...I would have RAN!
