Morning all!
Had a morning off from the books today...done some housework instead, its begining to get on my nerves.
Good news is Bunny, I have almost sorted a cleaner out. With a bit of luck they will start next week.
Hope my OH doesn't see the news about the job cuts - he will stress all weekend about losing his job (he works for himself!!!!). I know the economy is bad but there is little point driving yourself into an early grave worrying about what might happen.
:grouphug: to anyone out there who is in that posititon at the minute though...

Morning Sammy, morning everyone.
Today I'm having a 'sort your life out' day. I've got my tax credit notification thing through, so I can begin transferring the household bills into my sole account, and I can try to work out a budget that hopefully is less scary than my current one.
I also need to put some drawers together and buy a new toilet seat, as ds somehow broke it last night.
Then there's the 3 loads of washing I did last night to iron, the whole of the downstairs to clean and also the bathroom.
Plus phone calls and emails to various companies to change names on bills etc.
Hmmm, going to be a busy day!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Morning Campers
Busy day here too snaggles, just off for a run once I have dropped DD at pre-school then need to blitz the house, start the mountain of ironing and then got to be at work for 4:30 as we are having a christmas shopping evening....must resist the free mincepies and wine
Sammy hope your OH doesn't see the news too...everyday there seems to be more bad news!
Hugs to anyone who needs them todayI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Morning everyone.
Snaggles, you will feel much better once it is all sorted.
Children In Need day to day so I will be set in for the night with a couple of glasses of wine and a box of tissues as it never fails to make me cry.
Hope you all have a lovely Friday:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning all,
This is my first post on the MSE forums and today is going to be the start of me losing that albatross around my neck. I reckon that once I finish work tonight I’ll be planning a weekend of mass e-bay sales, X-mas bargain spotting, 0% card hunting, mortgage switches, energy switches and possibly a bit of good old bank charge reclamation. Hmmm, sounds like fun!
Have a cracking Friday folks!Debt 12/11/08 - c.£30,000 (need to sort out my SOA) - Qype Ninja!!! DFW Nerd no.1085 - PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT!

Morning all....
I WILL STICK TO THE EATING PLAN TODAY:rotfl: . I made a yummy cake for the kids yesterday and although I don't ususally indulge I did last night.
For all of you doing the ironing this morning, I wish I were a good rugbymum and could be bothered:D . I'm afraid that is one housework allergy I have never found a cure for, so this is for you all :T .
Snaggles don't forget to read the instructions LOTS before you do anything about drawers (woodglue & screws too!). Toilet seat.....we get through one a year if thats any comfort to you, and I still don't know how. I would leave the housework and do the phone calls & email thing, but thats cos I is lazy!;)
Simply it sounds like you're going to have a good day. Well done for the LBM!
Hugs to you all:kisses3: *

Maz progress has been made - package has got as far as work with me. Hopefully by the end of lunch it will be on its way to you:o Give me a nudge around 12.30 will ya?;)
Appraisal was okay yesterday. Got some useful feedback and given the chat its unlikely my position will be under review when I get back. Not sure if I'm relieved or disappointed:rotfl:
Hubbles is home tonight and his SA mate from Dublin is coming over to watch SA/Scotland rugby this weekend so tonight will be spent tidying then sorting my things for a marathon Xmas card making session tomorrow. If ya want one PM me your address:p
