quick question, I bought a jacket for £175 from there less than a month ago but it is now in the sale at £125. Do you think I could get a refund for the difference?0

Hi,
I appreciate debenhams might be busy, but i have spent a frustrating 30 minutes trying to add just 1 item to my basket.
It is utterly ridiculous and i have given up. Its about time they looked into the problems with their site. Its not the first time its happened to me.
Needless to say i CANNOT spend any money with them, and the time that the site might be working ok then they probably will be sold out anyway!
Sorry for the rant but my stress levels are a bit high...LOL..
More money saved then...hehehee

....and now it has crashed, taking my shopping with it.0

Just a warning - Be careful when buying in the sale at Debenhams because they don't replace or refund on sale items. Believe me - I've been there and stll got a faulty coffee machine:mad:0

After 45 minutes to get 2 items in my basket it's been emptied when it crashed. Shopping online..aaargh!!!!!!!!!!0

Nothing wrong with online shopping, unless you have a crap website to begin with. It's not like this is a new problem either- this site is notorious for being useless during their online sales.0

We've managed to add 4 items to the basket and then it crashed while we were browsing the website, clicked the back button and the shopping basket is empty. Clicked back a few more times and saw the items in the shopping basket, I'm trying to process this stuff but it keeps crashing on me. Been on it for 50 minutes. :mad:0

I would question this - if the goods are faulty then they have to refund or replace them under your statuatory rights. If there's nothing wrong with the item then they can refuse the return but if it's faulty that's a whole different kettle of fish! You could post on the consumer vent board for further advice?Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"
