Phoned them up re email, and they checked and it is showing up on their system and they are all in stock. I explained about the conflicting emails and she said print it out and we will overide whatever our system says if you have evidence!!

Hiya I ordered the spiderman and the scooter which said the total to pay was 12.49.
I asked :A My mum:A to get it for me and she went to self service till and it said that she would be charged for both.:eek:
So she spoke to staff and explained what she had ordered and explained (probably best to take a print out of email if you can) and she got charged £12.49 for both.:j

just to add went back again to argos armed with email conformation and got both for 12.49.... the kids look like they will get a good xmas after all thanks to this site... thanks op. the boom box is fine for kids who want their own first system got for my daughter age 10 but would be cool for teens....or the kitchen

I collected mine this morning and took the email as proof.
No problem at all, got the scooter and spider man for £12.49

i also collected mine yesterday although it was a hastle, after explaining to the girl on till and showing her email proof she gets manager over they overide it and great we get both for £12.49 after sitting there for about 10-15 mins we ask what the problem is, they have the spiderman thing but they must have miss picked the blo wheel, so we had to go to another store to collect the free blo wheel
never mind still works out at a great deal and thanks op, got anymore like this one?;)

didnt work for me...girl on till started trying to change things around, saying 'ooh look uve got 2 spidermen, ill just change it so you get 1 free as my comp still says u r entitled to another freebie... i was like 'no dont' eventually got her to change it back but its still coming up as about £30 more expensive..i didnt have my email confirmation, so ill print that and take it in but somehow i dont think its gonna happen, it started to get embarassing i was there at least 15/20 mins and ppl were starting to look..anyone else had similar?

i did have a girl on the till who did not quite understand because the blopens were the price going through on the till, i explained that it was the nerf going through at the cheaper price and not the blo pens, after showing the email conf she got a manager, who did say "but its supposed to be the cheapest going through free" (she was a bit of a dragon) but she did in the end put it through once the girl showed the email confirmation of the price.

go back stick to your guns and they will put it through as you have the proof of the price that you ordered it for.

if poss try going at a quieter time (monday morn?) weekends now are getting busier everywhere with people christmas shopping early etc.

It was a great deal getting both for £12.49. But on it own the Spiderman set would not have been worth even a fiver. It looks very tacky. But over all a great deal, the scooter was fab.
