Argos glitch

Can't take the credit for this,found it on paidtoshop, this is the post by kerryo so thanks to her

Just been on to Argos to reserve the Nerf Spiderman 367/3726 and it came up with about 20 items for buy one get one free so I also added a Transformer Animated Voyager figure 369/7686 worth £19.99 to my basket the Nerf spiderman is £12.49 and cheapest item is supposed to be free but it took off the 19.99, so both items for 12.49.

on the Argos website it says Save £14 Buy any 2 items listed below and get the cheapest 1 free. To receive offer add 2 items to your trolley. Offer ends 18th November 2008. However it's the dearest item which is free.

I can't seem to find it here on MSE which surprised me

Thanks! I've just reserved a couple of things they were both £19.99 so didn't manage to take advantage of the glitch, bit I didn't know they had things on bogof so really pleased!

Yes

I put the spiderman thing in then the boombox for £19.99 and came up £12.49
Then added spiderman again and the scooter at £24.99 and £12.49 again

Is it just the spiderman it works on?

You have to put the spiderman in your basket first.

can anyone help. i added the spiderman and boom box which gave me the boom box free( £19.99.) it is reserved instore for free but spiderman home delivery only
cant really go to store and pick up for free or can i lol
