I wouldn't return the Spiderman for a refund, but I guess you could take it back and ask to swap it for something else which is in the BOGOF offer?

Has anyone ordered the cars dj car and the spiderman nerf set and been to argos and it's gone through as i am planning to go up later and try but worried it won't work and it'll be a wasted trip as it's about 15 miles for me to travel there

added the nerf spiderman £12.49 and the football thingy £24.99

Came up as total £12.49 total

Clicked on reserve at my local store and the football thingy was in stock but the nerf had to be ordered for next week, so it gave my next local store as an alternative, which both items were in stock at.

I selected the football kit to be collected from my local store and the nerf from my 2nd local.

All went through OK, I have 2 reservation codes for 2 seperate pick ups.

1 @ £12.49 for the nerf from one store and one @ £0.00 for the footy kit from another store, lol

This is going to be interesting to see what the self serve makes of it

hi well i went to store today and it's not working for me was trying to charge me full price for both so left it, think they have fixed the glitch

Right this is what happened to me. I reserved the items online and the spiderman came up as only available for collection next fri,but the freebies(umbro bag/TV thing!) reserved only until end of today. Also said 2 spidermen for £12.49,but on confirmation email it had gone up to £24.98!

So I went into store today and the reservation showed upon the selfserve till as the freebies being charges at full price(the email shows a 0.00 value) I queried it, and the manager said I couldnt collect the freebies until I paid for the spidermen,so he extended the reservation date of the freebies till next fri. So we will see,he never queried the freebies so fingers crossed it will go through....although there is a disclaimer on the last page of the order form saying the price is not fixed until the item is paid for so....

can anyone confirm if they are allowed to pick up the freebie first if the items are on split res codes?

I was told that you cannot pick freebies up before paying for the original offer item see above post. But I just this minute got an email from Argos saying the spiderman is now available for collection, and will be held until the 25th, and it is showing 2 for £12.49 again! I think their system is really messed up....may be worth checking any other offers!

I have read on another site someone collected and it tried to charge full price for both she explained they were bogof so they put it through again and came up at £12.49 total so maybe just mention that it is bogof if they charge for higher price can always take back later.
