Well done musclesza, almost half way through the year and you are still plugging away at your challenge and making good progress.
How have you managed to stay so focussed and disciplined? I need some tips as my challenges all seem to be stalling at the moment and I need to fly from July to September to achieve my objectives.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
A London summer is expensive!!!!!
The savings rate has dipped, but have completed a few triathlons which cost quite a bit for the kit and the OH has got a ticket back to Saffa land - a pretty expensive affair which paled in comparison to the visa renewal!!!
As much as I love summer here I cant wait for winter in terms of the ability to save!!! I am working out of the country so my expenses are all paid by the company, hopefully for the rest of the year and should be able to save more in the next few months.
20k is looking a bit out of reach, but we should get close and hopefully some decent salary increases at the end of the year!!!!
Hope everyone else is meeting their goals. One thing I have learned: It takes a lot of discipline and restraint to reach a savings goal and its very easy to lose track of a budget....
