Another vote for Dear Zoo. And has anyone mentioned "The Gruffalo"? They read that in DD and DS's nursery and they loved it so much that we bought it. They also read things like Room on the Broom ("buzz off, that's my witch) and the like - basically anything rhyming.

GR, I like the sound of that Mr Seahorse book. We've got a book called "The father who had 10 children" (the title speaks for itself ) which our two love.

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Look on the Bookpeople, they do tend to be slightly cheaper than Redhouse. Check discount board for a free p&p code

Dear Zoo was one of my boys favourites, there is a lift the flap version
Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.
  • Any Stephen Cartright books as they have the little yellow duck to find on every page as well as being great toddler stories.

Agree Dear Zoo has flaps and my 20 month old and her 4 year old sister love it. "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" is loved by my older daughter but the youngest is a bit young for it. Neither of mine like the "Hungry Caterpillar".

My youngest adores Fidgety Fish by Ruth Galloway, Hush Little One by John Butler (is a lovely bedtime story), oh there are so many!

Whatever you choose I'm sure he'll love it :)

At this time of year, definitely The Jolly Christmas Postman, full of flaps and letters tucked in pockets.

Also Peepo by Janet Ahlberg - mine all loved it as did I:D

I'd second the Gruffalo! fantastic book; in fact julia donaldson's books are by far the best we've seen. amazon have 40% off quite a few right now.
