If it's any consolation, there are still loads of regulars on Moneysupermarket waiting too. I think one newbie popped up today to say they'd received 2nd email. Some reckon the rest will be sent out this week, and then it will be a free for all. Probably true, because they wouldn't want too many irate people ringing up on December 4th.

Regarding Kent Reliance (FWIW), I shall send off forms on wednesday with cheque and hope that by the time they've waded through all the applications, banked the cheques and they've cleared it'll be the middle of the following week, by which time money will have arrived. The worst thing that can happen is that the cheque bounces and I've missed out on the last decent fixed rate bond. But the phone call to the FSCS, bawling out the poor hapless individual at the other end who will be taking the flak for four weeks of pent up anxiety and anger, will make it worth it! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

That's it.... You probably don't know but Chamaeleon (one of the regulars here, obviously on Andrews) has admitted to being an FSCS spy you'll be sent to the back of the queue with the rest of us now for that remark!

Good evening all. Good to see a reasonable number of second emails today and some new posters. :j

Well done for setting up the poll Icesaver. It is quite reassuring to see that there are already 55 votes for not having received the second email. It is easy to think there are only a few waiting. If the FSA have sent out say 110K emails so far then there should be about 45% waiting still.

Looking at sloughflint's polls 240 people have voted for having received their second email over the first 2 weeks and this weekend combined, so should perhaps be about 200 MSE users still waiting for the second email. I'm not sure where everyone has gone. The numbers voting in the polls has really reduced.

Anyway enough of the numbers. Let's hope ALL of the second emails are sent out by next Sunday.

Sorry enzosparklefoot, I have contacted the Spelling Police who are arresting you on suspicion of miss-spelling the word "definitely". They may take being under the influence of a weird username into account...

(By the way, I reckon this may be THE most mis-spelled word in English; do a Google for definitely and definately and the results aren't widely different!)
