Icesaver reporting for the evening shift.

No No.2 to report, though it's good to see some No.2s have been sent through the ether today.
The more people who say they've had their No.2 means the queue for the rest of us is getting shorter and half a glass is always half full.

OK trying to be an optimist for a change. Maybe tomorrow we'll all get an avalanche of No.2s as Iceland has been sending her weather in our direction this weekend

Hope you don't mind if I join in. First email received on the 7th, still awaiting the second. I think I will actually jump out of my seat with joy when the second one arrives (hopefully next week-fingers crossed)

I'm out for 1 week, get home, quickly go check my mail and... NO %&%&ç% fscs mail!
    ARGH!
    :(
Hi Bea, I sympathise. Even when I spend just half a day away I fully expect for it to materialise, and then of course it doesn't. The assumption is that if I don't look the mail will come - if only! Hope your week away was at least somewhere nice!

Yes, where is Nilrem? Hopefully not frozen or snowed under...sorry really bad pun, couldn't resist!

Well I am afraid to say that I/we have been total 'wimps' today TBH, got up this morning and it was very cold but not too bad so go the cycling kit on and went down for my porridge, then it got very wet and windy so we thought sod this, phoned round a few fellow cyclists and they said think I will give it a miss today, changed into non cycling clothes again 20 mins later wind drops and a bit of blue sky appears so spends next 10 mins persuading Mrs Nilrem we really ought to go, sends a text to cycling friends to say we are going after all and got changed again, blooming eck 5 mins later it went really dark with strong winds and heavy rain so change minds again decide to visit the cafe (elevenses stop) by car to see who turned up, down the road we go and about 10 miles away the sun came out and been out all blooming day, I have been thoroughly fed up and wished we had cycled, get back home eagerly awaiting an email and of course there is not!

I am happy to be called a total wimp cos I deserve it! :o:o

TBH I just hope that the people who received their 2nd emails 2 weeks ago are really grateful and realise how much of a financial advantage they have over those of us still waiting, I hope they appreciate what sort of frustration some of us are experiencing!

I have got to the point now where I have lost any hope of ever receiving the damned email or my money without a struggle with the FSCS, I really do feel more frustrated during this 2 week wait than I did in those first few hours when I heard that Icesave announced they had stopped transactions, if ever this charade ends and I get my cash back I don't think I ever want to hear that blasted word Icesave or Iceland ever again, as far as I am concerned they can take the blooming country off the atlases!

Not wimpy in my mind, rather quite sensible. Who needs a cold when your money's already frozen? Sounds like you could do with a drink - what can we get you?
