TBH I reckon they make it up as they go along,
Earlier oql61 said -:I'm not sure if this is helpful or not, but I just now spoke to someone at the FSCS. He was unable to tell me when we might expect emails today, or any day, but he did reply to my question about what "the vast majority of savers" meant that everyone in receipt of a first email and who had a nominated account would receive their email by the end of november. So, only 9 more days of this abject purgatory to go!0 -

This is dreadful. So much for the "vast majority" getting their money back by end November. I reckoned that could mean 90% in FSCS speak but they have added another 4 days so how many of us will still be waiting for the BACs transfer past first week of December - that will be 2 months from default with no interest.0 -
...but the EU legal limit from default-to-recompense is 3 months (granted, easy for me to say)0

It must be a typo missed a letter out of waking. Could be an l for walking. It could also be another letter, but I daren't even contemplate posting that possibility.

All three possibilities fit the scenario perfectly, and all ensure a good night's kip.In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

BRRRRRR there's an icy wind blowing in now, in more ways than one“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
