The good news is there's no bad news, if no no news is not bad news and no bad news must then be good news. If you get my drift. ;)

I think I need to go to Specsavers as I completely misread this post  :rotfl:

    It must be a typo.
Missed a letter out of waking.
Could be an l for walking.
It could also be another letter, but I daren't even contemplate posting that possibility. :D

  • Hi all,
Don't get upset with me, but I received my second e-mail apparently yesterday at 17:04, didn't notice until lunchtime today as I was doing e-mail fasting. I had been checking my e-mail around 50 times a day and was about to go insane!
Also, throughout this wait, I kept changing my mind about whether or not to keep fixed savings in there or take the money and run. The e-mail came when I was feeling like keeping the money there (maturity mid-December) and continue to wait for a paper form. I think I like self torture.
BTW, when you initaite the claim, if you decide to keep the money in there, it asks for the amount. I was not sure if they wanted us to enter the main investment or the current amount. Couldn't find anything in the forums.

Nilrem, how are you doing? I will keep checking your camp and wishing that regulars here receive their second e-mail ASAP.

    Take care all,
    nicky_boo

Bit late now for the lunchtime email run. Must be this evening then. Apparently we have an 11% chance of receiving email today ... don't hold your breath.

:rotfl: God, I'd hate to be inside your head, but yes I see what you mean. A crumb of comfort - there definitely won't be bad news [e.g. payouts stopped], it would cause a riot between have/have nots.

Enough people have had the 2nd mail now for FSCS to have to follow through quite soon. I just wish they would get a wiggle on for the sake of everybody's nerves.

Perhaps they'll keep issuing over the w/e.
