Quick question: Obviously I know that this thread is pots of gold but do you think its ok not to put your choccies etc in pots?

And do you think 2x £1 scratchcards are better than 1 x £2 one? I've only seen one Christmas £1 scratchcard so far and really want to do my POG soon....anyone seen any others?

  • Here's my Pot of Gold - made for a gift. I used a 59p jar from Ikea which had a silvery coloured plastic top on it. I decoupaged the top with gold tissue papers and then used Mod Podge and put glitter in the last coat.

I just need to put a couple fo scratch cards in it now and wrap it in Cellophane nearer the time.

I use Photobucket - I then go into share on the photo and then click on 'Get Linkk Code'. Copy the code 'IMG for bulletin boards & forums' but make sure it's the 'clickable thumbnail' code. On MSE instead of using the quick reply box go into the advanced one and simply paste the code into the message box. Click on preview and you should see a small clickable thumbnail of your photo.

Thank you - I used an inverted scallop Nesties die to make it.
