What way do you buy the cellophane? is it a roll? where would be best to buy it? Thanks
Yes - I would like to know this as well! Also, where can you find the cheapest supplies of other "Pots of Gold" fillers like shredded paper, etc. as well as ribbons and streamers etc. I don't have a Hobbycraft near me although I do have a large Arts & Crafts shop.
I don't want to spend a lot of money on things that are probably going to get thrown in the bin (not everyone's like me who keeps stuff like that for future use)
It did occur to me that I could buy/use shredded paper and spray it gold for use in the bottom of pots - this would probably be cheaper than buying.
Oh, and while I remember, I saw some little gold wedding/birthday cake boxes in Tesco's today. They came in a flat pack of 10 I think and cost £1. You could put slices of cake in them of course but you could also fill them with sweets or even other little toys and games. What do you think?

Hobbycraft do cellophane on a roll... think it's cheaper than the florist.
So glad I found this... you can guess what I'll be doing next weekend!!!
Edit - yellow cello roll - http://www.cheapwickerbaskets.co.uk/items/packaging-supplies/cellophane-rolls/yellow-tint-cello-50-by-25-detail.htm

I'm doing pots of snowballs this year. Got the packets of snowballs - when is the best time to put them in the jars ? Would it be ok to do that now or would they go 'off' ?
I've taken a chance on one lot that I put in an empty maltezer tube that I'd sort of turned into a snowman for sons girlfriend.
The rest are going into empty mayonnaise jars so they'll be fairly air tight I'd have thought.........plus one is an empty gravy tub.
I'm wanting to get all the stuff sorted and packed into respective boxes before I forget who's having what.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
