OK
This week has been my first week with a meal plan and so far, so good - but then unusually I'm having a lot of meals out, which makes it all much easier.
I've been good at raiding the freezer though, so in theory I'm doing the right things.
My lunches are all going to be HM soup (if made) and a filled roll, and a yoghurt. If I eat well during the day I'm less likely to need a snack as soon as I get home from work.
So, here goes for the coming week:
Thursday - Prawns (freezer) and pasta in spicy sauce (cupboard)
Friday - out at some dinner thing (free tickets!)
Saturday - Beef pie with potatoes and savoy cabbage and maybe mashed carrots and neeps too (veg already bought and waiting at BF's)
Sunday - Gigot chops (freezer) with stuffed butternut squash (already bought most of ingredients)
Monday - Potato layer bake with ham
Tuesday - Jacket potato with tuna (cupboard)
Wednesday - Pasta (cupboard) with bolognaise (freezer)
I'm likely to do some baking at the weekend too, for my BF to nibble on during the week when I'mmnot there (!!) and also to take in for colleagues at work, but I'll try to make something using mostly store cupboard ingredients (probably flapjacks then).
Thanks for this thread - I like it.Grocery Challenge

THEBEES - my hubby isn't big on white fish but i make my fish pie with cod and coley, i chop them into small pieces, and lay out into a dish. i make up a white sauce and if i have any i add fresh parsley, doesn't matter if you haven't, pour that over the fish. then i add frozen peas and sometimes sweetcorn, and then quartered hardboiled eggs. top with mashed potato and then cook for about 30 mins (depends on the depth of the dish)
sometimes instead of the eggs i do a layer of spinach.

Ok - not done meal plans for ages but due to Christmas and having LOADS of work done on the house I have decided to use up what I have in and meal plan.
I have so much in that I am on £20 for the rest of the month on the GC and that is to just cover milk and little bits.
So . . .
Today - Moussaka (left overs from last night)
Saturday - Beef and Kidney Stew
Sunday - Lamb from freezer with veg, etc
Monday - Lamb curry, rice and Nans
Tuesday - Chilli and jacket spuds
Wednesday - Homemade Pizza, wedges and garlic bread
Thursday - Pasta Bake
Will have a look at next week once I have fully sorted out the cupboards  Also there will be a lot of lamb and pork on the menu because I have a full pig and a full lamb in one of my freezers.

Here is our meal plan for the week -
Not very exciting and lacking in fish! Can anyone recommend a fish pie recipe for a family that isn't keen on fish? We don't like prawns but will eat white fish!
The following dish is called Herbie Haddock in our family but it can be made with any type of white fish. I make it in the remoska but it transfers easily to the oven too.
Roll up the haddock and place in remoska pan/oven-proof dish.
Pour in some milk - enough so that the fish is sitting in approx 0.5-1.0 cm milk. Season to taste.
In a bowl mix together breadcrumbs, herbs, seasoning, and cheese. Sorry, can't give you amounts as I usually make it up as I go alongbut you need enough breadcrumbs to cover the fish and the rest of the pan/dish. Pour the breadcrumbs/herbs/cheese mix over the top of the fish and the rest of the pan/dish crumble style. You can add more cheese if you wish or add some butter to give it a lovely crunchy crust.
Place in remoska for 20-30 minutes until crust is golden and the fish flakes but is not dry. If using the oven 20 minutes at 180 is usually enough0 -
