Barclaycard that never was

Hi, I have just done an equifax report on myself and have found barclaycard have me owing them near to £4000 I would'nt mind too much but I have never had a barclaycard sol fin. I have to get this taken of my records because it is dept that I should not have. Is there a uk number or email address that I can use to do this I need it off quick due to buying a house and this is stopping me. I cannot wait the 28 days equifax say it may take.

OK well I'm going to suggest the obvious here - your first port of call has to be Barclays.

Have allready done that and the lovely customer service people not of these fair lands were next to useless. Got sent round and round then redirected to littlewoods.

You're just prolonging the agony by trying to get a problem as serious as this rectified by telephone.
